i put my bins out 1 hour before collection because foxes rip to shreds any bins put out overnight rubbish strewn everywhere and yet my neighbours still do it week in week out

as to doggie bags councils , or my council of castle point anyway are very lax is clearing specific doggy bins / about 50% of the time they are overflowing full to the brim.

i never new until a few months ago that it is illegal to throw your personal rubbish in a council bin
You would need to an early riser in my area. Bins are emptied at 7am

7am? Middle of the day!! Our binmen were out at 6.10 am on NYE! However there i no consistency, some weeks it's 6.30 am, some weeks 11.30 am or even 2.00 pm.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

mine are tuesdays at 7.30am to 8 am black bags and alternate pink bags week 11am

i was a street market trader for 43 years so getting up 4am to 5 am  has been ingrained in me since i was 16

albeit i remember when i was young and all rubbish went in an old fashioned steel bin and all excess went to the council flats opposite me and in there waste bins / and all big loads went to hackney dump where you reversed your car into the section you were told to go / opened the boot and just threw everything in the same spot on the floor , despite newham and hackney being a rough area back then i do not remember much if any fly tipping

It's not illegal to put an empty crisp packet into a council bin if you've eaten the crisps whilst out and about.
That's what they are there for.

Rather than personal rubbish I think it is household rubbish

In other words no putting your excess household rubbish in a council bin.

Our bin times also vary greatly. The same drivers drive the gritters so they can’t do both at the same time obviously!
If we have general waste collection and recycling on the same day ( they coincide every 6 weeks) the same crew switch trucks and then go round again.
