I have not been getting on with my knots as the string I was using was not ideal. Today I bought macrame cord and have knotted the following knots from Complete Knot List | A-Z List of All Types of Knot: Alpine butterfly knot; Bowline; Clove hitch; Double coin knot; Eskimo bowline knot; Figure of Eight and a Reef knot. I plan to stick them on coloured paper and label them - I'm rather pleased with my handiwork (and is the fun project I had originally hoped it would be).

The macrame knots sound like they’d be a lovely project @DundeeDoll!
I finished the second book in the ‘A Court Of Thorns and Roses’ series late last night. I found the first half slow going in places as there were so many new characters and a lot of new information to absorb, but was completely absorbed in the second half. I can see how people have got addicted to them! I’d rate it 9/10 and will have to think about ordering the third in the series now.

I've been away from the boards for months due to a fairly traumatic year but I'm back now and intend to get back on track! My original list is obviously not going to be achievable now but I'll update now on where I currently am!
Annual:
1) Read 26 buddhist/zen books - completed 🙌
2) Listen to 26 podcasts - 2 and they were in January! I'll dig out my headphones and start those again tomorrow. Still achievable
3) Do 26 bike rides - 0 - the weather has been too hot (and I've been too lazy!) but dh and I are intending to do one at the weekend 😁 I can still achieve this goal if I do a couple a week 🤔
4) Do 26 home 'spa' days - 2 - if I do one a week I can achieve 20 by the end of the year.
5) Grow 26 varieties of veg/fruit/herbs - completed despite having a poor year due to the weather !
6) Have 26 'tech' free days - 0 but still achievable.
7) Watch 26 sunsets - 10 - weather permitting this is still achievable as I can watch it from my back garden 😁
8) Watch 26 sunrises - 6 - weather permitting, this is still achievable now that the days are getting shorter and the sun is rising later
9) Go on 26 walks with dh - 2 - still achievable and something I'd like to do on an evening rather than slob on the sofa!
10) Do 26 home 'gym' sessions - 0 - I'm starting to do 1 or 2 sessions a week from next week so hopefully I'll complete this.
11) Do 26 nights of 'stargazing' - 1 - I'm unlikely to reach this goal but I'm going to get as close as possible!
12) Clear 26 items of clothing - 0 - the great wardrobe clear out is being done this month so I'll manage this.
13) Save £2026 - completed - although all of it will be needed to replace things my foster cats have destroyed! 🤦♀️
14) Have 26 'gardening' days - 5 - it's been too hot for me to cope with outside but now the autumn is here, I'll do more so it's achievable still.
15) Do 26 beach walks - 6 - I'm restarting my daily walks tomorrow so I'll be able to achieve this.
16) Donate 26 items to the foodbank - 0 - I'll start this on my next shop. I'm trying to reduce my expenditure due to the year being brutal on my finances but I'm going to do my best to achieve this even if it's only low value items that I can buy this time around
17) Do at least 26 dog walks (he's not my dog! 😉) - 0 - the dog was rehomed which was the best outcome for him. No other dogs to walk so this is no longer a target. I'll have a think on what to substitute 🤔
18) Listen to 26 new songs - done. I've just started songs on YouTube and let it run - ended up buying 2 more fever ray albums as a result (secondhand obviously! 😉)Monthly:
19) Do 26 days of yoga nidra practices - 8 in August. This will be a daily practice from now on
20) Have 26 days alcohol free - 8 in August - I have given up alcohol again so this should be achievable for the rest of the year.
21) Do 26 days of dry skin brushing and moisturizing - 0 in August - I have acquired a new body brush and dug out some moisturiser so will hopefully achieve this in September!
22) Save £26 off my grocery bill - £0 in August -used up the whole budget but I have done a full food inventory over the last couple of days so should manage this in September
23) Have 26 days of eating exclusively WFPB - no idea for August but not that many! I'm going to be very strict in September as I'm trying to rebuild my health and strengthDaily:
24) Do 26 minutes of housework - and then some! 🙄 I'm fostering 4 house cats (3 of which are long-haired) so it take longer than that just to vacuum the landing and stairs! 🤦♀️😂
25) Do 26 minutes of meditation practice - not very many in August but don't have the exact number. I've started doing it daily again now.
26) Do 26 minutes of asana practice - 6 in August but again, it's something that I've reintroduced recently.Overall, considering the year I've had, it's not too bad on some of the annual stuff and most of it is still achievable! The monthly and daily stuff has been dire but I'm back on board with it all now so I'm determined to stick to it for the rest of the year!
I'll update weekly from now on to help me stay on track 😁

@leftatthetrafficlights, sorry to hear you’ve had a tough year so far. You’ve achieved a lot already - don’t pressure yourself to do too much! Prioritise the things that make you happiest. Perhaps getting DH out for a short walk after dinner with you each day will help to ‘kill 2 birds with 1 stone’?

DH decided to declutter his room this week and, oh my goodness, he has absolutely decluttered! We still have another 2 sets of shelves and a load of totes to go through but I am SO proud of him for letting so much go, he is being so sensible. Sadly, his physical self cant do a lot of the hobbies he had, like fishing, so he has decided to let the whole lot go. Well done everyone. xx
