Didn't either the original NIP/s172 or the letter giving you the option of attending a course give a contact number or numbers? I wouldn't expect 101 to be able to give you answersattila_123 said:I received an email from ndors saying the above. The email said if I want to know the reason, to call 101 and ask for West Midlands Police. Big mistake, I called and had a 101 phone support member complaining they should not have put 101 on the email as they can’t put anyone through. The extension they normally put people through has a full mailbox and no longer accepting message. They said just email them. I have emailed and waiting to hear back (5 days now).I’m not sure what’s happened. I was offered a course or points, I chose the course paid and booked it. This was 4 weeks ago.Does anyone else know what I can do? Or have come across this issue? Thank you
You have to have completed the course no more than 4 months after the original offence in order to give them enough time to prosecute you in case you don't attend the course or otherwise fail it. If you were booked on a course after (or close to) that deadline they can withdraw the offer.0 -
Hence why I asked for the date of the offence.0

I'd love to see a copy of the NIP showing 56. I've never seen one lower than 10% +2 over the limit.attila_123 said:
I did a course but than was 14 years ago. 56 in 50Mildly_Miffed said:You have no right to attend a course, and it can be withdrawn at any point right up to completion - with prosecution (or FPN) back on the table.
Have you done another m'way course in the last three years? That would instantly disqualify you.
Likewise, assuming speed, you may have fallen *just* outside their threshold for a course.
Sorry, it was 57 in a 50…close0 -
15 October this yearTooManyPoints said:What was the date of the offence?0 -
Yes it did and I opted for the course, the course was booked and paid for and the date for the course was 23 Jan. the speeding offence was 15 October.Okell said:

Thanks for that. That rules out a possible reason that you booked (or took) the course too late. Completing the course by 23rd January would still leave almost three months before the offence "times out".1

Is there a physical address? Send then a letter (signed for) just in case your email vanishes in the ether. You can do nothing until they come back and you would not want to find yourself in court due to that.0

So... if the original NIP/s172 and the offer of a course both contained a contact number(s), have you tried ringing those numbers to ask why it's been cancelled?attila_123 said:

Thanks all for the comments. Yes I have tried calling that number, that’s the number which has a full mailbox. I got an email from Hampshire Constabulary Driver Awareness team to say they cancelled and will process the refund (i chose hampshire constabulary as a service provider for the course) that email had a number and I managed to speak to an officer there. Super nice guy he said it was really odd they've had a lot of speed awareness course offer withdrawals recently from other constabularies but no explanation why. He looked on the system and could see there was nothing against my name so concluded it had been withdrawn. I can only guess there was an issue with the equipment and some other driver challenged West Midlands and they then had to withdraw the tickets. Very random.1

I have contacted multiple emails, phone numbers etc… and left emails outlining the situation or voicemails. Is it just playing a waiting game for them to respond?
