New Capita-run Civil Service Pension Scheme - problems (what a surprise!)

I've just signed in to check my Dec payslip and I got a message telling me my account has been locked due to maximum number of attempts reached. What, one? Pretty sure I entered the password correctly anyway.
I need to contact support apparently. Certainly won't be doing that for a while with queues in excess of 100. It's nothing major and I wouldn't want to take the place in the queue of for example someone whose pension was due to start months ago and hasn't seen a penny of it!!0 -
My pension was paid into my bank as normal yesterday.
Thoughts with those that are having issues getting their pension into payment.0 -
isn't pension last working day of month?

Nope, it’s monthly on the day you retire/start paymentsClashCityRocker1 said:isn't pension last working day of month?0 -
That makes sense. I partially retired starting 1st of month so I get mine last day but I suppose it's obvious that that isn't universal!Catflap2 said:

despite signing in a few times over the last few weeks after the initial failings, this morning i am unable to log in?
tried the reset with the 3 security questions and all three answers are showing an error incorrect, im 100% the answers are correct.
will wait till later today as im sure there are significant problems today0 -
I retired on 30th November. I was told my lump sum would be 3 - 10 days. Nothing received. The portal has a pay slip for 31st December which shows that they intend to pay me a fraction of what was forecast. It takes well over an hour to get through on the phone, at which point you are offered apologies and excuses, but no actual commitment to pay up. You can also send a message via the portal - which they will ignore.
I think this may be the government's next big scandal. Has anyone started an Action Group yet?1 -
Took me the best part of 6 months to get my CSPS lump sum/payments. That was shortly before the website changed to Capita, so I'm assuming its the same staff behind the scenes or TUPE over.
There was multiple incorrect quotes and application forms completed before I could get anyone to pay attention. I'm picturing 1 member of admin staff in a broom cupboard and 3 mile high pile of applications......2 -
I qualified for my Civil Service pension at the beginning of November. All documentation was submitted at the earliest time allowable ie beginning of September. It took them 2 months to notice that I had omitted to tick one box (although the information supplied made it obvious what the answer was) though my fault nonetheless. I resubmitted the forms the same day and phoned the office when I was told that the change was noted and all should progress. Deathly silence since then despite repeated requests for information to which the automated response promised a reply to my query in time scales that have not been met. As others have noted, there is scant information on the new website after I eventually managed to log in. It's just not good enough. I feel sorry for anyone who is/will be dependent on the scheme for their main income. Today, apparently, the team who should be answering the phones don't have access to members' information and I've tried to ring 3 times!!! In contrast, I have nothing but praise for DWP and the local government pension schemes which have been efficient, easy to contact and paid up on time.0

They have now added my beneficiary (my wife) since I last looked.
However (despite the above) they still say I'm Single, and there is, as yet, no deferred pension to benefit from.
If I want to get my marital status corrected, they say I should send my original marriage certificate to:"Where to send it
[Postal Address Line 1]
[Postal Address Line 2]
[City, Postcode]"Honestly, have they installed a "website in a box" style package and not even updated their own address details?
No way am I sending an important original document so them, even I they did tell me where they are.
