I'll post back with any added updates/ my experience later in the year. My concern is that there is no information on the portal about my service and it is not a straightforward application for me, although i did register ok.

I can't read that update because as mentioned their website is now under maintenance.

Having applied in November 25 for a pension beginning of May 26 I thought that the revised deadline was end of June for a quote. Heard nothing so does anyone know if this was addressed in the update?

Also why delegate the job to someone so close to retirement? Surely with Capita's track record they should have appointed someone who could oversee the process longer. Although, I guess it perfectly meets the narrative of all being a complete shambles.

Will my Medical Retirement Certificate (from 2010) be held by Capita ?

I need it for a specific benefit claim and have lost the original ….

I also need a "guaranteed to work" contact us email address - because I have been locked out of my account and no way to recover it…… thanks

    First Post

When I had to send a document urgently and my portal was not working I was given the following email address

enquiries@civilservicepensionscheme.org.uk I received an acknowledgement email and when I rang later the document had been linked to my file.

Absolutely livid and champing at the bit this morning and having a complete frustrated melt down all in one go for the incompetency of Capita!!!!😱 My pensions quote was happily submitted last week (uploaded all documents to the CPS website as asked for by Capita, as well as paper copies (including bank statement and ID) sent registered post for good luck! I carefully read that quote pack documentation at least four times, to be sure not to miss a thing and followed their checklist provided. Capita have emailed me back to re-complete and send back the Pension Choice form (which is actually different from the original one they sent me😫 and they have the audacity to say it was missing!!!) and also now asking for CERTIFED copies of my bank statement and passport/driving licence! AHHHH! No where in any documentation I have seen certified copies required (did I really miss this???). If I had known this beforehand, I could have sorted that task out weeks ago while I was waiting for my quote paperwork. Back to being annoyed and frustrated instead of happy and content! 🤬
