That sunrise is beautiful!
I have ordered a few things from Amazon. A daily (hourly) planner, I restocked my vitamins for next year and I bought myself another necklace. This one wasn't expensive, but quite pretty.
I really want to get organised next year and also lose the half stone I gained back. I want to stick to the healthy habits I picked up in 2025 like meditating daily, going to physio, gratitude journalling etc...
I'm going to be wearing the red jumper I bought on sale yesterday from a local store and my new necklace today.

Not sure if I'll get time to watch this later as it's livestream only but if anyone fancies a free online lecture on Tudor Christmas here's the link, pre-register and it starts at 6pm, they're usually about one hour

I've had tea with a friend and exchanged presents 😊
Currently refreshing my blue shiny nail varnish, and once it's dry I'm going to add a layer of glittery gold, ready for my last day at work tomorrow 🥳6 -
@Blackcats, Black Forest Gateau flavour for me, too, please. Our local C0stas don't seem to have it this year...
@Cheery_Daff, thank you for sharing that gorgeous sky!
Two days of child care accomplished: we both need a rest! However, I had the four-year-old telling me with shining eyes that she was Mary in the Nativity. I hope she remembers it, she is so happy about it. Then we had dinner with our daughter and her family and she made a Christmas crumble with apples and a whole jar of the mincemeat that I'd made. Rich and sweet, and served with vanilla ice cream - very good.
I'm back on the bandwagon of my Advent resolutions today, though in a small way and somehow I don't have confidence that a couple of portions of frozen fruit every day is going to create enough freezer space for all the cheap veg that go on sale tomorrow, not that I have time tomorrow to do anything culinary. Ah well, at least we have had some more space and used up a few things. The using-toiletries resolution means I've sprayed on some more Fenjal: I'm getting to like it quite a bit.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
