Cancelled mobile phone refund

I'd like to call on the expertise of forum members for this question.
I bought a phone from Motorola UK, cancelled it on the same day, and I'm wondering when I should expect to receive the refund. T&Cs can be found here https://www.motorola.com/gb/en/legal/terms-of-sale
- Purchase made online at 08:30 on 7th November, £700.98 reserved on my credit card (Lloyds Ultra)
- Cancellation requested and acknowledged at 08:50 on 7th November
- Motorola advised that they were unable to prevent dispatch of the phone and that I should refuse delivery (despite the fact that it never left the warehouse in Rotterdam until 13th November)
- Delivery attempted by UPS on 14th November, refused and they confirmed that the package would be returned
- Full amount debited from my card on 14th November (dated 7th November)
- UPS Tracking showed Delivery Refused on 14th November
- No tracking available after this date
- Order status on Motorola still shows as Shipped
The T&Cs say in Annex 1 that reimbursement should be no later than 14 days from the day on which they were informed of my decision to withdraw from the contract, which by my reconing is either today or tomorrow, depending on when the count starts. It goes on to say that reimbursement may be withheld until goods are received back or I have supplied evidence of sending goods back, which I would argue is what the UPS tracking status shows. Should I therefore expect my refund no later than tomorrow (or perhaps Monday to allow for business days)?

As would have been better to take phone & contact them for returns address.
Simply refusing delivery, can lead to a world of pain as there is no real tracking process. Item could get stuck in van or depot it's taken back to, waiting for someone to sort out.
Never mind that a returns address can be different to a fulfillment canter they are sent from.Life in the slow lane0 -

Yes, I did refuse, which is what Motorola told me to do, as I've stated in the 3rd bullet point.1 -

You seem to be keen on raising irrelevant points but not so keen to answer what I've asked. If you don't know the answer then it's probably best not to post at all as you're wasting everybody's time.1 -

Best ask Motorola to chase courier, as they are the only ones who will know where it is 🤷♀️

Whose time is being wasted here? You're the one who spent £700 and then changed your mind 20 minutes later.SiliconChip said:born_again said:

The answer to your question is yes, probably. I don't see how that helps you, though.8 -

If you don't know the answer then it's probably best not to post at all as you're wasting everybody's time. It's hardly irrelevant considering these items are dispatched from outside of the UK, so would have to leave the UK and pass back through customs for it's return.Your post above is quite ironic when you could have just contacted Motorola and asked the question, instead of asking people on here to guess.4
