Ouch Jessy! You have my sympathy! I came off my bike a couple of years ago and it’s definitely more of a shock now we’re older! I was fortunate that I was on the cycle path and no nettles, but it definitely shook me up (and grazed and bruised me). Take care and be gentle with yourself today - I hope you don’t have to cycle too far (if at all) for your jobs today.

Thanks for the well wishes and ouchie to your falls too! x

I have two jobs this morning, only an hour each and then an hour this afternoon (all in the village and only short cycle rides) so I'll be done by 2:30pm at the latest. I think I'll get the slow cooker out and pop stuff in for a stew this morning, that way I can chill out the rest of the afternoon and will just need to do some dumplings later.

I'm going to list a pair of shoes on vinted this afternoon and see how that goes. I've never used it before but these shoes are still in the box and have never been worn so I definitely need to give it a go and see if I can get some money back for them.

    Happy Friday folks!

My bruises from the fall off my bike are looking very lovely and purple! I am still a little sore but not bad overall.

Cleaning jobs are going well and a monthly customer i have wants to book me twice in December so that'll be a nice little extra for Christmas. I also sold my shoes on vinted! Woohoo! I will get them wrapped up and posted tomorrow. DH is now worried as I am on the lookout for other things to sell 🤣

I have spent some money this week though as I have ordered a small table and chairs for the dining room. I wanted us to have a table to eat our Christmas dinner at this year as we never had room for one in the old place. It was only £89.99 though so I havent gone mad. It should arrive this weekend.

MIL is currently staying. She arrived yesterday and is taking us out to dinner tonight as it is DH's birthday next week and then she is going back tomorrow. She is currently still in bed and I need to go to work shortly. I dont know what to do, do I wake her or not?! 😅 I thought she might wake up when I was bashing around in the kitchen as I've made some leek and potato soup for lunch, but she's like DH and could sleep through a bomb! 🤣

I hope you just left her a note to say you'd gone out! I find it incredibly annoying when BF has guests at his house and they surface late (my definition of late being anything after about 8.30am 😅). But then equally when they do get up, I have to speak to them, so maybe I should let it go a bit more 🤣

Haha! Luckily she got up just before I was about to leave. She said it just goes to show how comfy the bed is.

Thank you x She is still in hospital as they want to do some more tests, but hopefully she'll be out soon.

I had my lay in and then went out to clean for an hour at the customer's that i had to put back due to the emergency. I posted my vinted parcel, so I'll hopefully get the money for that in the next few days. DH found an unused leather wallet he had been bought one Christmas which I'll list on vinted today.
