    Read steps 2 & 3

    1. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire or the usual template letter saying they 'intend to proceed' and/or want you to 'settle'. Ignore that!
    2. Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CNBC and then complete & email it to the CNBC (see box below for the DQ email) and cc in the info@ address for the legals acting for the Claimant. It's a simple form but all the DQ answers are here:   https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81302208/#Comment_81302208

Do so when your own N180 DQ document arrives in the post from the CNBC in Northampton  ( so not from DCB Legal   ), if you check your MCOL claim history online,  and if it says that it's been posted to you,  them yes, download it,  fill it in and email it , if not, wait for it to change

Step 1 above tells people to IGNORE the intend to proceed,  to ignore their prefilled in DQ, so ignore them

You are waiting for official papers from the CNBC,  so ff DCB Legal  !

Please just follow what the 8 steps say.

Not sure how to make it any easier and of course you aren't adducing 'expert evidence' in a small claim

@Gr1pr the official n180 form arrived today by post.  I have filled and sent it to the address DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk.

Is there anything else that I will need to do. Should I send the filled form as well to the CNBC by post.

I received an auto response email as well. Thanks

I hope that you didnt fill in the paper form and scan it or take pictures  ?

Definitely do not post the filled in paper form either

    The correct action was

Download the N180 DQ pdf document from the government website and fill it in
Save it as a new pdf document
    Attach it to the email
Send it to the DQ email address and also copy in the info@ email address for DCB Legal
Then check for the auto response email back

No pictures,  no scans, no posting , as I explained in this recent thread below

Thanks a lot. I received a letter from CNBC regarding a general form of order stating that they havent received the N180 form which i sent via email to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk on 23/12/25. I'm very certain that i received an automated response from the same exact office when i sent it.

I made a mistake of sending scanning the form and sending it to the above email. I have since referred to your post and have followed your advice, filled the form via pdf, signed and sent it to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk

Should i forward the same exact email to DCBlegal as well?

This is the letter that I received today. Does it mean that CCJ has been issued or do I have until 23/02/26 to file N180 form?

You can see that's not a CCJ and what it is ordering you to do.

    No photos or scans.

@Coupon-mad I was wondering if there is anything that i'd need to be aware of. I have a mediation call in 2 weeks. Recently i have been getting voicemails from DCB to ring back ASAP.

They rang me few weeks ago with a strange number while i was abroad offering me a reduced fee of £150 in installment for 6months which i blatantly refused.
