Problem Accessing My Outlook Email account

I have just changed my laptop and am having a problem getting into my outlook email account I keep getting my old gmail account which is still active but rarrely used how do i get into my outlook account

Are you using a browser, and if so are you heading here?

If so, under File Settings does this show your Outlook account?

As above how are you trying to get into your account, via browser or App?

I am still trying to get used to this laptop the outlook tab appears on the desktop screen but when I click on it I get my old gmail email account it does not make sense to me

You can use Outlook to read Gmail.

The laptop's Windows Outlook app can support multiple types of email accounts including Gmail, it's likely that when you set it up you've defaulted to your gmail account. If you want to use a Microsoft account then just add the account on the app. Click on the Add Account link and follow the instructions.
