    Chilly Sunday afternoon here 😬
We took youngest out this morning to a local(ish) pier. Had a nice walk then hubby and DS had chips and battered sausage. We then found fresh donuts so bought 5! Also picked up a magnet for the fridge so total spends were £20.99
back home now with a cup of tea and my kindle trying to warm up! Can’t see us venturing back out today so shouldn’t be anymore spends.

Popped into home bargains today and ended up spending £76.25 🙈 I did pick up some Christmas bits for the boys, advent calendars and Christmas cards which I wasn’t expecting to purchase yet but at least I have them now. Absolutely chucking it down now so need to crack on with the cleaning.

Overpayment of £88.46 just made to bring the balance down to an even £191,000

Had a quick catch up with a friend today at hers then came home and ordered our next Gou$to box for Sunday.
Popped out again for a massage, hubby bought me a credit voucher for my birthday so have £45 left on that after today’s massage.
This afternoon will be taken up by sorting paperwork for youngest annual EHCP meeting on Friday as I’m out most of the days tomorrow and don’t like to rush it last minute.
Still have half a tank of fuel in the car, luckily I don’t need to use it that much so probably only spend around £50 a month. Mortgage overpayment is now showing on my online account so that makes me feel happy.

  • I'm interested to try those meal boxes but never get round to it - I feel they could encourage DS to est a bit more variety!

We’ve only been having the box delivered for a few months but I love it! We have no food wastage and far less takeaways as I know exactly what we are having for dinner. So for me we are saving money and eating loads healthier.

Went to bed grumpy last night and woke up in pretty much the same mood…..certain it’s hormones so just have to try and talk myself round to thinking positively!
Going round a friends today so hoping for another NSD. 🤞🏼
I really need to make a plan to declutter before Christmas, tomorrow is a full day of deep cleaning so once the house feels better I can hopefully set my mind to a plan of decluttering a couple of rooms a week? Also need to really focus on Christmas, it gets harder each year to know what to get for 2 adult children and a 13 year old!
Will probably have a look at bank account this afternoon and see if I can jiggle some money into savings, would like to make another small mortgage OP before payday (23rd) but I’m pleased with how much we’ve overpaid this month and don’t want to leave ourselves short so would ideally put money into savings first and go from there.

Quite a high spend day today…boo
    £47.98 in Mr L
£48.00 on Amazon (birthday present for dad and had to replace youngest as tracker he managed to lose on the school residential! and cat flea treatment)
we are having chicken pie tonight with veg, all cooked but keeping warm in the oven as no one is home yet! Youngest has been fed so we are enjoying a cuddle on the sofa whilst I have a cup of tea and wait for everyone to return.
Out tomorrow evening for a wedding reception. Buffet and drinks provided so should be no money spent. Not sure what other plans we have for the weekend but hoping they don’t involve spending much, pay day next Friday, trying to leave my bank account alone as much as I can now before then.

    Thank you Beanie

had a lovely day and evening yesterday and no money spent. Had a low spend day today as we needed milk and bread.
Tomorrow I’m out meeting a friend at a local garden centre for coffee (and probably 🍰)
I didn’t end up paying any more off the mortgage but I’ll check at the end of the week to see how the bank account is looking then go from there.
Really tired this evening (and a bit hungover still!) so going to head on up to bed a bit earlier tonight and choose a new book to start on my kindle.
