Tonight I have to set up new monthly threads on my 3 reading groups online,so tomorrow morning members can list their TBR for November..
Hoping to do more reading now I have my glasses
Plus I need to made a home delivery order for delivery on Sunday, ready to try to follow a better diet. Going to cut out biscuits and sweets,I have had far too much this month.Mad comfort eating as the family had big problems I will explain later.
Starting fresh next Monday.
Will start out with 15 no spend days. I had assumed that bill paying days would count as spend days, but it seems not.If they are budgeted for they dont apply. I could do with a quick tutorial on what are and are not No Spend Days
What about my monthly direct debits for charities. Five days there I thought were spend days, now am unsure.
Finally try to do an hours reading to finish the final book of the month, only 40 pages left.
I will discuss the various parts of the challenge bit by bit from tomorrow.
Off to do all my stuff now. Night night.
I know its not even 6 pm yet but it feels really late after a stressful day.Still lots to do,and could be Mr Dusty will want attention for several hours later.

Morning all!
Diet::
Didnt even get one trick-or-treater last night. Today put all the coins back in my cash box,and chucked all the sweets in the bin. Last year I ended up eating it all so got rid of the temptation immediately. Very satisfying

Selfcare:
Made a start on improving my sleep..No drinks for 2 hours before bedtime. No phone or tablet in bedroom. Read with the Kindle. Not used to wearing specs in bed so gave up after about 15 mins.At least I inished the reading I had left to do for the month.I got a solid 4hrs sleep which was good but had to get to visit loo and then couldnt go back to sleep for over an hour, then slept heavily 2 hours, which made me feel exhausted, but at least I got 6.5 hrs in 2 solid batches.:8 -
I went into town today to do an identity verification. Should mean I can switch and pocket £180. Yay!
Took the bus, verified my face, wandered through JLewis' looking at posh stuff, spent in the Wading Bird 🐦 shop and the Sklep Polski where I bought nice foreign breads. Nearly went into a bakery, but resisted.
Came home and we had cheeses, pickles and salad with dark breads, I did the washing up, and made scones, and a tray of peanut butter flapjacks, all from stores . I have whipping cream in the fridge and jam in the pantry (not spending money can still be fun!).
Knackered and aching after dragging one double bed and mattress down 3 flights of stairs, and then dragging the new double bed and mattress up 3 flights of stairs and building it yesterday.
Did a good deal of tidying later on in the evening, so my house seems to have much more clear floor space.....that or the carpet has grown.....

A bit of a busy ol' day, but no money spent 😎Today I am grateful for the optician making phone calls for me and telling me what to do, for Pip and I going to a political party's coffee 'morning' gig, for Pip's friend coming over and getting his PIP application finished, for the Rogue Invitational on utube which combines both Strongman and CrossFit competitions, for dh who always prepares the coffee the night before, for the old dining table and chairs being collected, for dh finding some sparklers in aldee. For whoever it was who wanted clarification on NSDs: if you part with any money, be it online or using a card or cash, then you have spent. If you only buy yellow sticker/ reduced items, or travel expenses or medical needs, then you keep your NSD. And this month I've said that charity shop purchases will not lose your NSD. Bills can leave your account on an unexpected day so they're not counted. Please add anything I've missed!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2
