I also do the fiver friday challenge and once this years challenge ends, I'll continue with it next year but add the fiver to my sealed pot, rather than have two different pots on the go.

We went and met her this morning.  She's going to be more work than Storm - she's a husky/poodle mix (mostly husky though) was rescued from a feral/farm situation with her 2 sisters, all heavily pregnant at under a year old, and had her puppies on Xmas Eve.  So she hasn't really had chance to be a puppy herself   She was skittish and took to me before DH, when he came over to sit with us and stroke her, she snuggled into me!  We went for a short walk with her handler, she was very bouncy and nervous, and DH hasn't walked that fast or that far for ages so he's suffering now!  I was always the one who did the longer walks anyway so that won't be an issue.  It was fine, and she did a lovely howl for us which is definitely a sound I've missed since we lost Storm.  We're going to foster her to begin with, which means the rescue will provide everything we need, even food, and see how that goes but I'm fairly certain she'll be ours soon enough.
