blimey Ant! That’s a lot of walking… it’s a wonder you only came across a single penny!
I know what you mean about Sue, she’s usually like clockwork. I hope all is well.

- Hi all SP Potters! I hope you've all enjoyed a good time while I've been MIA!! I've got a long post fom since I've been away, but I'm having real problems.
I hope everyone is healthy and not at all low in spirits. However, if either applies, do get well soon, but for now, love from us all at SPC ❤️
Hi everyone and especially Ant and LMD.
Enjoy a really lovely Friday folks! T and I have been really poorly stomach wise for a week, but felt a fair bit better by this Tuesday so I replied in a post to you all ready to put on on Wednesday. I always reply to you all via Gmail on my mobile, then send it to my PC via Plusnet.com. However, the PC didn't receive any of the posts I double posted.
Yesterday, I set out to start another Gmail account up here on the PC. However, it was such a palaver that I gave up in the end.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHICH OTHER E-MAIL PROVIDER I CAN USE TO SEND MY POSTS TO FROM THE GMAIL ACCOUNT ??!!
Please bear in mind that the laptop is unable to receive PMs
Very many thanks to everyone and much love and many hugs to one and all! ❤️
- Sue

Great to see you back and know that you are OK @Sue-UU
I reckon it could well be a similar issue to the one you had some time ago with your drafts. Your preparedmessage might have exceeded the size limit. If you click on the little person icon on the top right of your screen you will get a dropdown with your Account & Privacy settings. You should then be able to delete any existing drafts and start again.
I have also tried to send you a PM

So glad to hear you are ok Sue and I hope you get your posts sorted soon, it's so frustrating when you don't know how to fix it.
We've had a busy week, our DGS broke his leg just below the knee. He was playing in the garden and fell on the grass. Bless him he's in a temporary full leg cast and isn't allowed to put any weight on it. It's very difficult for a 4 year old to sit on the sofa all day! He's got an appointment at the fracture clinic on Thursday so hopefully he'll be given a proper cast and can move about a bit.
Another five pounds this week. Enjoy the Bank Holiday 😊

Very many thanks indeed Ant, I've replied tou your PM and explained it's all e-mail related at my laptop end. I've just had a message from Thunderbird (Firefox) which I've used for years. It's a lot of gobbledegook to me!
"Secure connection failed
live.mozillamessaging.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server. If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.
Or you can add an exception…"
Very many thanks indeed for all your help Ant, I really do appreciate it.
I totally agree with you Siju, a real pain, but not half the type of pain that your little DGS has been through! Was it both tibia and fibia? Poor little sweetheart, and really alien for a 4 year old to just lie on the couch all day. Let's hope the appointment at the fracture clinic is able to help him a lot. I had to go to the FC a few years ago as I fractured my 3rd finger when I fell on holiday, they were wonderful. I do hope he's soon so very much more able to do the things kiddies of his age do.
Very well done with anothe £5 potted.
Take care folks and keep safe. Wishing everyone a really lovely Bank Holiday Weekend!

It's his tibia I believe Sue. He's feeling a bit better now and shuffling around on his bottom but still frustrated at not being able to walk around. Children are so resistant and at least he's still small enough to be carried short distances.
With regards to your PC problem you might want to check you haven't somehow blocked the email address. I did that once accidentally and couldn't send to specific accounts.

You're back @Sue-UU - Hurrah!
Sorry to hear you're having technical difficulties again, I used to use Firefox many years ago, but have been using Google Chrome as my browser for the past 5-6 years and it seems much better for me. As for a new email, you could try setting up an outlook one perhaps with Microsoft? here's a link if you want to try that.
Hopefully Ant will be able to get you back on track.

I don't think I've blocked anything, though as Ant might tell you, I barely know where to find anything let alone know what to do with it!! No, he's far too much of a gent, though T didn't exactly fight my corner. 🙄 Let's just say I'm not exactly tech savvy! Ant was really marvellous, bless him!
Ah what a blessing Sigu, I'm so pleased to know that your grandson has just the 1 bone broken, I presume it's possible to break both! Such a blessing that young children can soon get around to using their bottoms to shuffle, where there's a will there's a way.
I don't think I've blocked myself from using Thunderbird, but I'm fairly sure I'll be using my laptop
Thanks so very much LMD someone else who recalls me living up to my no tech savvy times then! 😪 This HP laptop is many years old and mostly I use it for photos as well as sending emails from my mobile (I find it so much easier with predictive text as I have essential tremor in both hands, wrongly named as it's not essential to me!) the C&Ping posts to SPC.
However, I also have a tablet and thanks to Ant I will now go over to using that for SPC, as long as I can still log onto SPC as ME!! What happens if not? 😲
Bless you for link LMD, another gem!
Very well done indeed ThriftyPrincess40, muscle power for sure!!
Very many thanks to you all for your immense care and help, especially to Ant who's been an absolute Godsend!
BTW T and I will be going away will all the family for a few days tomorrow (to destress!) I'll be back with you all on Monday - fingers crossed!!
