Once you've reported your health condition and provided a fit note the health journey has already started. You will be sent a UC50 form in due course. (usually around a month later) You will need to fill this in and return it. Please make sure you continue to provide fit notes without any gaps until a decision is made on the WCA.

thanks but what to do about this commitment interview. Its ridiculous that just last week they did my identification over phone, then suddenly i'd be able to go in person for something else.

Use the Journal: Put everything in writing in your Universal Credit online journal. Mention specifically:

"As discussed on the phone, I have significant concerns about attending in person due to [reason]. I am requesting a phone appointment as a reasonable adjustment."

Whatever your reason the GP signed you off for have you still got a copy of the certificate to add to the coach.

    they're saying

appointment is mandatory and must be attended in person at the Jobcentre. Attendance is a condition of receiving Universal Credit, and if you're unable to attend, your payment may be delayed.

    This cannot be right?

    WHO is saying that?

A phone jockey? (Who is just reading what it says on their screen).

Or an 'Agent' on your journal? (Who should know better).

    Should I reply with this?

Thank you for reply but I do not think this is right.

Under the Equality Act 2010, Jobcentre staff must make reasonable adjustments for people with disabilities or health conditions (including mental health).

If my GP confirms that attending in person is harmful, you must consider alternative arrangements, such as:

    Phone

    Home visit

    Delaying attendance until health improves

It's just a Jobcentre employee. What is the reason for their need to have you appear in person? You stated your ID was confirmed online completed ? and you've uploaded a doctor's note. If it's just a claimant commitment, it can be done via telephone. Did you enter what I said previously to the journal? You can also phone UC to ask the reason mentioning the right to reasonable adjustments.
