CRAZY LATE SERVICE OF 2 PCN

I also must commend British Land’s handling of this case.
Unusual and refreshing for such a large company to take full responsibility.
They did not hold back and made it clear that Nexus has caused British Land immense embarrassment and they really can’t apologise enough.
The manager was extremely angry and told me my ticket was squashed only ten minutes into our conversation.
(As a reminder I became very unwell and unfit to drive so I telephoned my family to come and collect me and my car.)
I explained to the manager how had asked Nexus what else I should have done in the circumstances and what the correct procedure was but Nexus have ignored me.
The manger said that reaching out to my family for help to be taken home was obviously the correct procedure.
And a huge massive thanks to all of you who helped me gain the confidence to challenge the tickets.I seriously felt like giving in to Nexus’s intimidation before I posted.3 -
Trust me I’ve made it crystal clear that I want to know what discipline has been taken.
Its nice that I don’t have to fork out £100, however that Nexus handler tried to degrade me by demanding intimate medical details in the knowledge I was a women. I am determined to make sure he’s disciplined, I say him because I don’t think another women would behave so badly, I hope.

British Land have really been amazing and immediately accepted full responsibility.
The manager didn’t hold back and said how deeply embarrassed she was and stressed how this gives BL a very bad reputation.
I was told that this was the worse Nexus parking case she’d ever had to deal with or even heard about.
They also don’t like the fact that Nexus ignored me when I asked what the correct procedure was when taken ill and unable to drive my vehicle off the car park. As you know I called my family to come and collect me and the car.
Like me BL agreed that reaching out to my family to take me home was the most common sense and appropriate action I could have taken.
BL also didn’t agree with me being issued with two tickets when one single event, medical emergency, led to the two breaches failing to display Blue Badge and overstaying.
I also asked BL if the handlers get commission because they appear to act over zealous, I was told that they don’t.The BL manager has given me her email to keep in contact about the disciplinary progress and anything else which may crop up.
I don’t feel smug-I'm still angry.
I’m enormously grateful to everyone on this forum because I surely wouldn’t have had the courage to dispute it without your support.
I don’t think I’ve ever come across such an enthusiastic bunch of people hell bent on helping people and seeing justice done.
You guys certainly got me fired up and it’s paid off.
THANK YOU5
