Actually, Greying is right, I remember making the exact same mistake when I first used a self service till (however many years ago it was … 🤷‍♀️).

Ooh… a victim… do you want to buy my kitchen 😎?

At least if was only bags Mr 🐞made a mistake about. It might be worth him going to the CS desk next time and explaining his mistake and seeing whether they’ll refund him (unlikely) and pointing out that the instructions are confusing. I had (at least) three visits in a row just after a ‘premium’ BNS was introduced where my ‘basic’ one was put through as the expensive one, and ended up going to the CS desk and asking that everyone be retrained and three separate cashiers making the same mistake was clearly an issue.

Well done on the carrots. Mine gave up this year. I really struggled with the dry weather despite having irrigation set up. It’s pretty basic and clearly doesn’t suit everything.

    Glorious day.

FRUGALNESS FOR YESTERDAY AND TODAY SO FAR.
    • borrowed some books from the library. I really like sci-fi/fantasy books but I’m really struggling to find a good author at the moment. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
    • Mr 🐞accommodation fees for this weekend have been reimbursed by a very nice family member of the other person going🥰. Not going to explain too much there for obvious reasons.
    • used the ev to take the youngest to respite as Mr🐞friend has drove.
    • Yesterday I got up to the plot and the foxes 🦊 have been up to their usual antics. I had used some plastic netting to create a protective tunnel for my broad beans. 🦊 has run ( or sauntered) up and down it, completely flattened. Lots of little muddy footprints 🤣. So today I’ve used some metal half hoops to stop it happening again. Hopefully that will protect future meal ingredients. The 🦊 had also kicked around the grass cuttings that I had put in a nice pile.
    • free exercise yesterday and today, yoga, lots of walking ( although not hit 10,000 steps…… yet!!!) and lots of stretching.
    • harvested the last of my plum tomatoes, celery, french beans and cucumbers. Plum tomatoes still need to ripen, celery will be made into soup or frozen for winter stews, french beans need to podded and left to dry.
    • weight loss/ become fitter and healthier campaign began on Tuesday. I’m 11st 3lbs and 5ft 2”. Going to try and be more accountable.
    • garlic has been planted and covered to stop the 🦊 and 🐦 digging them up.

Right time I pack up at the plot and go and get the sharp sand to store my carrots in.
