Hi guys, how much will a Van cost me per year all Van related bills included?

As someone who has slept in both, I would suggest that a van is a lot better than a tent, while still being far worse than a bedsit.Herzlos said:That's what I was thinking; it's a lot of money and hassle for something that's only marginally better than a tent

I've slept in my car a few times, rather than a van, and couldn't say it was better than a tent. Though for context I'm 6' tall so someone shorter might find it less cramped. But for what you'd spend keeping a van on the road in a year you could buy a pretty good tent, air matress, sleeping bag and thermal clothing, etc. and still have enough left over for a gym membership. And that's not counting buying the van.If it was me and my money, I'd probably be looking at a caravan either on an actual caravan park, or find a friendly landowner that'll let you leave it there for a few quid. That'll give you a kitchen, toilet, bed, heating and headroom. It might even give you a 'home' address.
For the £1000 that won't get you a working van, you can get a pretty decent van that'll need a lot less maintenance:

But given the OP is disabled and potentially homeless, the council should be providing her with actual, suitable accomodation. Even a crappy flat is going to be leagues better than a crappy van.

Anywhere between 300 to 3000.1

As well as the details given, where vehicle is normally kept overnight and make and model and age, plus type of use.would be needed
Best to try an online insurance comparison siteIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
That's a "how long is a piece of string" question.
Along with make, model and value, where you live and park it will affect the insurance cost.
Nobody has the same driving history as you either so just put the details into a comparison site and go from there.
DO NOT try multiple quotes under slightly different names and addresses from the same device, browser or IP address, the AI algorithms are getting smarter and you may end up being refused quotes.

Anywhere from £150 to £8,000 - many unknown variables.
You can however go online and do a dummy quote using roughly accurate data and see what prices you actually get quoted.0 -
Supplying an address might be. a problem as I believe the OP is homeless and intends to live in the van.0

OP, can I suggest you revisit your previous threads where people have replied, rather than starting yet another one with basically the same queries?2

£1,000 - get someone else to insure it and just park it up.Margret1994 said:So jus rough figure in our head im an inexperienced driver 40 but no points i will be a bigger van but able o fit in a normal parking space.
