Judge has requested documents

Okay! Ill send it now then thankyou, do you think it will need to be scanned on or photos will be suffice?0

Just email the defence and a photo of the claim form will do fine
Please ensure you use their correct email address3 -
Yeah, your document are just missing from the file because of their ineptness.4

This seems to be rather commonplace.
Willesden County Court did not receive my defence from CNBC and I received a direct communication from the court to send it to them.
I sent my WS by Royal Mail since it had a USB memory stick with video evidence in it. They did not receive it as it turned out, and at the first hearing, the judge postponed my hearing to a later date as I had proof of postage.
I sent another copy by email prior to the second hearing, just to be sure it got into the file. I received this reply, 16 days later, after the second hearing date had already come and gone.
Thankfully I'd handed a physical copy of both directly to the judge at the first hearing otherwise I think, despite my efforts to the contrary, they'd not have had either!
The entire system feels clunky, inept and not particularly fit for purpose.

@Umkomaas maintains a thread of the cases on this forum discontinued by DCB Legal before it gets to a hearing. As of today, we're at 677 cases discontinued. There's *way* more chance of them discontinuing than you needing to appear in court.

You are assuming that DCB Legal will pay the court hearing fee by their deadlineparkingmad25 said:Dcb legal have emailed the docs over to the court too and ccd me in.

We are assuming that they won't, based on hundreds of other cases, especially the ones in the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas, around 670 and climbing4 -
parkingmad25. don't be nervous, I went to court for the first, hopefully only, time earlier this year. Everyone was polite and made efforts to put me at ease. Don't be afraid to ask for a pause or clarification at any time.
But as you have heard it probably won't come to court.5
