Really sorry you feel grim again Valli. It must be so disheartening.I've fixed the carbon monoxide alarm and done quite a bit of sorting and tidying. The chocolate pots are yum. I've adapted Chef Jean Paul's Yoo Toobe recipe - 600ml pot of cream heated with a quarter cup of gran sugar, poured over 250g 74% dark chocolate (Lidl's), with the zest of an orange and a quarter cup of booze added, which is then poured into small pots. I make it in a 2 litre jug to make my life easy. (Note to self: Remove lids before pouring.) It won't set until it's chilled but basically it's a flavoured ganache, so if you like chocolate truffles this is the recipe for you. It is Very Very Rich. I've used up all the brandy and am now on the Creme de Casis bought about 25 years ago and it's been languishing in the drinks cupboard pretty much ever since. I've got a fair amount of old booze to work through. Such hardship.Yesterday's laundry load is finishing off drying in the house, and we're off to France this evening to the sunshine for 24 hours so I'll see you on the next one on Tuesday.Better is good enough.5
