Still in manic mode; just packed and ready to go to Norfolk for a few days - but that will be after I've filled up with petrol on the way to drum lesson; bought 3 things from Mr T (where I park for drum lesson), had drum lesson, packed the car with all the stuff currently in the hallway. Remainder of last night's stew is packed for this evening's meal and I 've just made a blackberry & apple crumble which will do us tonight and tomorrow.
Past activities completed:
- wedding flowers went fairly ok, bride was pleased (although arrangers not impressed with the quality of the flowers). J
- Journey and visits to Mum went ok Sat-Mon.
- Delivered training at college yesterday, not bad but I know what to improve on for the repeat performance next week.
- flu jab booked. Confirmed with GP that despite Mr N being vulnerable and entitled to a Covid jab, that doesn't include me - rather odd as we share a house.
Various amounts and levels of flying done in between that lot, but not much drum practice.
To any Norfolk-dwellers, I'll probably be swimming at Old Hunstanton on Sunday morning (with the OH Dippers!).
Hugs to all in need.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.6 -
Ohh a trip to Norfolk!
they were out swimming today, it was a bit rough, and looked cold. Good luck.OH get a covid jab, but I don't, so like you I think it is a bit odd, but generally we keep away from large gatherings / public events etc, which I think in my non medical mind helps.General stuff doneKitchen doneHoovering doneOn cat feeding duties for NND, their cat love me in their house, but if it is in my garden it hisses at me!!.Nothing of any interest going on here.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

Me too, Round! Happy Friday to everyone!
The person I was supposed to be visiting on Monday and then yesterday has cancelled yet again (she has MH problems), so I have had a good lie-in and am looking forward to an extra day for catching up with some flying. I've already made arrangements to visit two other friends next week so have told the first one that I haven't got much free time next week - in fact, looking at my diary, I don't think it will be possible to see her until the following week, as she's some distance away and it takes a whole day to drive there, spend some quality time with her and then come home through the relentless West Midlands traffic.
J the gardener came yesterday afternoon, so I plan to get a bit more tidying done in the garden later. Before that I must clean through upstairs - Rosie has been very generous in shedding her white under-coat all over the study (back bedroom) floor this week! This afternoon I want to drop off some pears to DS1&Co, so I might be able to walk Rosie on the big hill for a change. First though, there are a couple of cards and an email to be written.
See you later xxx
