Sainsbury's to Natwest transfer

Well I've just got caught out when I received a phone notification that I had "just paid £165 from my NatWest credit card". (My NatWest credit card is a balance transfer only card and so has never left the safe)
Stood for about 30-40 seconds thinking, "How on earth have I made that stupid mistake?" and then it dawned on me! 🤔🤦♂️🤪
This means that I am now getting spending notifications from NatWest, but the card is still not showing in my NatWest banking app.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
[I already had a NW account, so no activation code for me].
FYI, I noticed my Sainsburys card did magically appear on my NatWest account (as a Nectar card) on Sunday, and I could scroll through and see previous transactions but it seems to have disappeared today! Still, they said the 7th so I may have caught them mid-process.
For what its worth, I use my Sainsburys card as a balance transfer card and NatWest balance transfer cards are, for me at least, pretty terrible at offering ongoing offers so I'll probably close it in a couple of months time. At least Sainsburys would send an offer about once every 3 months so not too bad.0 -
My card is now live in the NatWest app. I'm a new customer so had to finish setup, but all looks OK. My last D/D was Friday 3rd October and that shows correctly.

Just re-registered from scratch, no issues whatsoever and my card is showing in my account, all details correct. DD is due tomorrow so I hope there's no problem with that but that should be fine as I've seen that the name has changed from Sainsbury's to NatWest in my list of DD0

I think I've been recognised as a customer but they have an old mobile number for me, codes etc. being posted instead.0

Does not really bother me - I just have this account for some active 0% balance transfers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards.
