I signed up through the energy club at 08.10 and it went through ok, I then out of curiosity checked on BG website at 08.20 and only Nov26 V2 with similar increase to yourself showing, so I can only conclude 40000 did subscribe early and offer closed, as when I went back to energy club that version no longer showing

As to posting up the rates I would think they will vary by region and might give a false impression, but state around 15.2% below cap if you include the cashback.

Looking at the BG site you shouldn't be able to see a "collective" tariff anyway as it's a deal exclusive to MSE.
I tried to sign up via the MSE Energy Club within an hour of the email last night and couldn't see the tariff, and can confirm no similar tariff appeared on the BG website either.

Collective Nov 26 V2 was showing on BG last time I looked.
I read Collective as a dual fuel tariff? maybe I am wrong but could explain how you are having difficulty  trying to get it for a single fuel.

Thought of that but MSE website https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/energy/cec-tariff-1/
says: "It's for new and existing dual-fuel, electricity-only and gas-only customers, paying by monthly Direct Debit (and on receipt of a bill for existing customers only)."

Existing British Gas customer. Saw the Cheap Energy Club email and signed up for the Collective Nov26 deal at around 23:10 last night. Confirmation email that I'm on the new tariff received from BG at 00:35 today.

Had recently chosen to switch to the Exclusive Fixed Energy v86 tariff, which was due to take effect on 4 October, so hoping they will take last night's instruction as superseding that and not end up in a muddle that results in missing out on the collective deal.

I am an existing British Gas dual fuel monthly DD customer, and long time Cheap Energy Club member.

I tried to get the BG Collective Nov26 tariff multiple times last night up to 03:30 hrs this morning, to no avail.

I tried adjusting the filters to making them as all encompassing as possible, but at no time was I offered the Collective tariff.

Tried to get the octopus deal at 10 last night, nothing showed for me, some indication when the deals have run out would be helpful as I just spent  some time checking my details checking this forum etc

I switched to the British Gas, Collective Nov26 this morning and the confirmation email was sent at 09:34.
I was already a member of the CEC, but logging in now the BG tariff still shows.
Already had the "sorry you're leaving us" messages from Octopus!

    According to Big Energy Club:-
    • It's for new and existing dual-fuel, electricity-only and gas-only customers, paying by monthly Direct Debit (and on receipt of a bill for existing customers only).
I tried all of the options last night, dual-fuel, gas only, and electricity only, but still wasn't offered the British Gas Collective Nov26 tariff.

Interestingly, if I edit my details leaving Electricity with Tomato but lying about my current supplier (British Gas) and claiming to be supplied by "Good Energy" on their default tariff I am then offered a dual fuel Collective NOV26 tariff. This was a few minutes ago.
