A quick observation: All the transactions seem to take a few extra days to clear i.e. i used the debit card for those 5 transactions on 23rd and 25th October but they didn't clear untill 27th and 28th (i thought debit card transactions were in essence immediate. Clearly not).
Watch out for this when completing the 20 card transactions a month for the extra cashback. I try to complete mine by the 25th - if they are still "pending" on the last day of the month then they might end up counting towards the next month instead.
  • I applied and set up my account before the date was brought forward.  My switch from Chase failed.

I was going to try it again but am I now out of luck given the change of date, even though I started the whole thing when the original date was still being advertised?

FYI - New customer, opened account end Oct & completed switch 7th Nov.
To get the bonus, did the required 5 debit card transactions shortly after opening, logged into the app when the online activation code arrived in the post, and then deposited the lump sup overnight on the 11th.
Switching bonus received on the 12th.  :)

  • New Switch and Stay offer from TSB.

    T&Cs.

    This offer comprises two parts.

    Part 1: The switch part

    Before 9th December 2025 10th November 2025: <<<<<< NEW END DATE!!!

    - Submit and complete a full switch request to either a new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account or to any existing TSB current account (except the under 19s current account).

    - Make a minimum of 5 debit card payments on the account you're switching into.

    - Log into the TSB mobile app at least once.

    - Pay in £1,000+ in one or more transactions.

Within 28 days of completing the above you'll get £150 paid into the account.

    Part 2: The stay part

This part only applies if you successfully completed part 1 and have received the £150 switch incentive.

In the first three calendar months from the month after you receive the £150 switch incentive (e.g. if you receive your £150 in October 2025, then the 3 months are November, December and January), make 20+ debit card payments in each of the 3 months to get £10 cashback per month. Maximum £30 in total.

From what I can see this is in addition to the usual £5 per month cashback, so if you were to open a new Spend & Save account in October 2025, commence your switch in October 2025, do the 20+ debit card transactions in October 2025 (i.e. they are all processed in October) and receive your £150 switch cash in October 2025, you would get:

    - £5 for October 2025 (the month you receive your switching cash), paid in early November 2025.
    - £15 for November 2025 (the 1st month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early December 2025.
    - £15 for December 2025 (the 2nd month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early January 2026.
    - £15 for January 2026 (the 3rd month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early February 2026.
    - £5 for February 2026, paid in early March 2026.
    - £5 for March 2026, paid in early April 2026.

For Spend & Save accounts the cashback ends then. For the Plus it continues once you keep doing the 20+ debit card payments per month. For other accounts it depends on what the cashback terms are for that particular account).

Offer only open to those who haven't received a switching incentive from TSB since 1st October 2022.

I started my switch 1st November and it completed today, will I still get £150 for switching now the end date has changed to 10th November? 😒

You should do - the offer was withdrawn on Nov 10th but the original requirement to complete a switch before Dec 9th remains.

Yes, once you've fulfilled all of the conditions of the offer.

I'm pretty much the same - started it before the offer date changed, met the requirements I can control already, with the switch to conclude on the 18th. I'll be quite upset if I don't get the bonus..
  • My account (Santander never used everyday current account) switched at the very beginning of this month - and I received the switching bonus last week - Thursday I think. Very impressive.

Can anyone confirm if they did several Chip savings account debit card transactions and successfully qualified for this switch incentive/monthly cash back?
This would be good to know.
Just to confirm, debit card transactions to a Chip savings account do qualify for the switch incentive and monthly cash back.

    Switch completed 10 November
£1,000 paid in on 10 November (and transferred back out on the same day)
4 debit card transactions made on 12 November
1 debit card transactions made on 13 November

Wonder when I can expect the £150 bonus?

    Screenshotted on November 14th …
