Has anyone who has had a switch bonus since October 2022 managed to get another one?

I had a letter from TSB saying the switch from my (secondary) Chase account had failed. Anyone else had similar?

Had a text saying the same. I need to phone the switching team, but been working, so I can't manage until Monday.

Oh no, I've just done a switch from my newly opened Chase account today (second account).
@James_Londoner did they give a reason why, please?

  • No reason given - the letter just said I should contact Chase.  I haven't done so yet. But I'm slightly reassured that others are in the same boat.

Wow, appreciate the quick reply, thanks :)
I read on a different thread (can't remember which one now) that the Chase debit card is 'numberless' and that the number is actually different, depending on whether you use it online or instore.
I think the App discloses the 'online' number and that it is difficult to obtain the 'instore' number from Chase.
I just wondered 'thinking outside the box' if this could be a reason for the switch failures?

Just for balance. I'm not sure why your switch failed, but two of us in this house have completed. Both by opening a new chase account and using that to switch. When asked about the card number, just said no card. Both been told that switch completed successfully, just not had bonus paid yet.

I did once have a switch fail, from Tesco to nationwide I think it was. Each bank blamed the other, with no further explanation. End result, no bonus.

My switch from a chase account was successful on Wednesday. My card was linked to the account and I specified the card number in the application. It's now automatically linked to the remaining chase current account.

I also did my TSB switching using a second Chase account. I didn’t enter a debit card number in the switch application, and the switch was confirmed successful back on October 13th.
I am still waiting on the switch incentive payment from TSB.

Should be paid on Monday then hopefully!
