New Switch and Stay offer from TSB.

T&Cs.

This offer comprises two parts.

Part 1: The switch part

Before 9th December 2025:

- Submit and complete a full switch request to either a new Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account or to any existing TSB current account (except the under 19s current account).

- Make a minimum of 5 debit card payments on the account you're switching into.

- Log into the TSB mobile app at least once.

- Pay in £1,000+ in one or more transactions.

Within 28 days of completing the above you'll get £150 paid into the account.

Part 2: The stay part

This part only applies if you successfully completed part 1 and have received the £150 switch incentive.

In the first three calendar months from the month after you receive the £150 switch incentive (e.g. if you receive your £150 in October 2025, then the 3 months are November, December and January), make 20+ debit card payments in each of the 3 months to get £10 cashback per month. Maximum £30 in total.

From what I can see this is in addition to the usual £5 per month cashback, so if you were to open a new Spend & Save account in October 2025, commence your switch in October 2025, do the 20+ debit card transactions in October 2025 (i.e. they are all processed in October) and receive your £150 switch cash in October 2025, you would get:

- £5 for October 2025 (the month you receive your switching cash), paid in early November 2025.
- £15 for November 2025 (the 1st month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early December 2025.
- £15 for December 2025 (the 2nd month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early January 2026.
- £15 for January 2026 (the 3rd month after you receive your switching cash), paid in early February 2026.
- £5 for February 2026, paid in early March 2026.
- £5 for March 2026, paid in early April 2026.

For Spend & Save accounts the cashback ends then. For the Plus it continues once you keep doing the 20+ debit card payments per month. For other accounts it depends on what the cashback terms are for that particular account).

Offer only open to those who haven't received a switching incentive from TSB since 1st October 2022.

If you fulfil all of the conditions above and haven't received a switching incentive from TSB since October 2022, then you can switch in one of your Chase current accounts. Just make sure it's not your only Chase current account before switching, use a burner Chase account

This offer uses the same cut off date of 1 Oct 2022 as TSB's previous offer!
I last switched and got an incentive in Dec 2022, and had hoped that the cut off date would rise in due course....
Is this going to be the new normal for switches?

Looks like it. This seems to be the pattern now. Or removing the date altogether so you can only ever receive one switching incentive.

Looks too good to be true
1 - use current account switching service
2 - download app and login
    3 - deposit £1,000
4 - buy 5 random items which you pay for individually (5 loose bananas for example)
    ----------------------------------------------
    Receive £150

    are there no other requirements?
are there no direct debit requirements?

Thanks (I've got a spare account not doing anything so ready to switch,  but my issue has always been the account has no direct debits)

Ive never banked with TSB so looks like im OK and i should crack on with switching ASAP

Thanks once again for creating this thread and the clarification just now  👍

A perfect candidate to switch away the Halifax reward accounts which won't be needed once the final payments come in this month. That's what I'm going to do with one of them. :)

I forgot to mention, if you go through Top Cashback you can get an additional £20 for the Spend & Save account and £40 for the Plus account.

Top Cashback have their own T&Cs and separate procedures you need to follow to qualify for the cashback which are separate to the TSB switch offer.

Quidco are advertising £30 cashback for the Spend & Save account and £40 for the Plus account. However, when I log in that reduces to £22.50 for the Spend & Save account and £30 for the Plus account. T&Cs are similar to Top Cashback's.

Do the following three actions need to be done after the switch is complete, or during the same month the switch is complete?

    1. Download app and login
    2. Deposit £1,000
    3. Five Debit Card transactions
