Chase £100 incentive

I had a a look in the app but nothing there either, not that it matters as I don't receive any payments by BACS.
The only use I have for Chase right now is for their burner accounts!0 -
One small company I used to work for usually ran payroll as BACS, but if they didn't get incoming payments on time they did them as immediate bank transfers on pay day. I can see that type of system being popular with some people!la531983 said:
Probably be fine. They are just trying to exclude any bank transfers imo, yes this will likely preclude the relatively small number of companies who run payroll just as Faster Payments.grumpy_codger said:danny13579 said:
The "you own" is important as it precludes me moving £1,500 from an account in my name with another bank to a Chase account in my name, and getting the gift card.grumpy_codger said:Not sure why they say "not a transfer from another bank account you own", not just "not a transfer from another bank account". Idiots. With regards, to "No mention that payment has to be BACS", "direct credit" is in fact "Bacs Direct Credi" -
Nothing about moving from someone else's account to yours or from a company account to yours.
Do the T&Cs define that what they call "direct credit" is BACS?Interestingly, my salary from a big company is listed as "BANK GIRO CREDIT". God knows if it's 'direct credit' or not.
Like I said, someone could just actually ask them....0 -
The thing to be aware of is you're asked to provide evidence of your spending for the past x months is you'll have to provide statements from 2 different accounts.Wings_of_Ambition said:Is there any downside, in terms of credit rating/report, to changing the receiving account for salary? I can't think there would be, but hoping to buy my first place soon, so don't want to make any silly moves, just to get an Amazon voucher.0 -
Is that not a risky business relying on an Incoming Payment to land prior to outgoings? What if the income was delayed, youve potentially got failed DDs (if the Overdraft doesnt cover them)?la531983 said:Yes had the same. I dont want to close the account my DDs come out of, problem i have is i have multiple DDs come out the same day I get paid, first thing, and dont want to run the risk of any of them bouncing as I didnt have time to move funds over0
