Why would there be? Credit files dont concern themselves with the positive balances of any current account.

I’ve received this Chase offer too today by email. My salary is paid into my current account at my bank, it’s the same account where my mortgage is taken from and the account is with the bank I have a mortgage with. My fixed rate is due to expire in 12 months, so perhaps it’s more trouble than it’s worth for an Amazon voucher ….Guess I could get my salary paid into Chase for a couple of months .    But maybe not a good idea to close the account (which I’ve held for 30 years)

Just get your employer to change the bank the salary is paid in to until the end of the year then change back.

No need to do anything with your existing account.

I have declinded to be contacted via any means including email. Could I be included in this offer but because I have declined marketing/promotional emails not been made aware of it but may actually do qualify? I have only used Chase as dummy for swiching out and no payments were ever made or the card used so probably not in the target group anyway or maybe especially because of that they want to tempt me with this to activly use it. 

How can somebody find out? No chat or secure message function in their app, unless I looked at the wrong places?

Chase emailed me about the £100 Amazon gift card offer, but I can’t see anything in the Rewards section of the app to confirm it’s available to me. I’ve searched through the app but nothing obvious shows up.

Interestingly, my salary from a big company is listed as "BANK GIRO CREDIT". God knows if it's 'direct credit' or not.

How can they tell if an "income payment" is BACS if it's just labeled as something like "bank giro credit"? 

"BANK GIRO CREDIT" is how some banks label incoming payments via BACS' 3 day payment system.

The receiving bank knows whether an "income payment" is BACS or Faster Payment because they are part of the systems and know which one was used.

Nothing for me, only credit card and to open a boosted saver at 4.5% for which I don't have a need. Guess I am not eligible.
