Today I am grateful for a good liddle shop with my 10% off coupon, for it not being as chilly outside as it looked, for getting Pip a dentist appointment for tomorrow, for a short evening walk, for bumping into a neighbour who agreed to sell me some of his left over sleepers, for other posters writing such interesting diaries!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Elastic fully working today, so no near mishaps! Tricky day at work. Made 2 more baubles this evening.
Grateful for laughter with colleagues, strong elastic & being cosy in my new-to-me cardi (80% wool)
Hoping I don't blow away tomorrow with the potential 95mph winds forecast... Keep an eye out for a blonde Mary Poppins heading your way 🤣Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hope it’s not as windy as forecast for tomorrow @Thrifty_Taylor.Managed to hobble into Sainsbury’s earlier to pick up a couple of bits ahead of the forecast storm here tomorrow. Pain levels are high today and I’m very stiff.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. NSD 2 yesterday. Lots of work in London too. It's a long day from the midlands and back, but I love it.
Came home to a glorious fruit & veg box, grateful for that. Also grateful for admin days and getting some copy done for my website, getting ready for launch.

Still on NSD 1/15, as I bought a couple of peppers, an avocado for dinner… and maybe a bottle of wine that caught my eye.
Today I’m feeling grateful for being in a much better mood, for working from home with OH, for some homemade soup for lunch, for a visit from Dad and his partner, for OH cooking dinner, and yes… for wine!

Yesterday was hard work - very ill. This morning I've cancelled my flu jab appointment for tomorrow. I was a bit brighter early on but sank rapidly. Fairly sure this is COVID. Spent most of my time plodding through more paperwork and finally found my new card when I'd given up. I was going to go out and buy a few things with cash, as I haven't been able to stand up and do any cooking.
Pulled out the bag (which I thought was empty) to go shopping and found more paperwork including the card (hidden because the paper was folded over it. I went to the cash machine and decided that was far enough. Came back and have done a very small food order (£16.01) and another for COVID tests and some ibuprofen (£12.83 - paid extra to have it by tomorrow).
My budget is healthy because I started with £155, my purse had £35, I found £40 amongst the papers on the bed and a further £20 when I was pulling things out from the side of the bed. There was £220 more on a different shelf on the trolley. I've also put my library books on the bottom shelf of the trolley. Bin bag nearly full. New paper bag half full, old full one is by the back door.
Will see how I feel tomorrow and may do another small food order or make do and set up the big food order for next Tuesday. I've eaten all the fruit, all the boiled eggs (filled another pan but haven't cooked them), all the yoghurts, all the tuna, all the cheese triangles, all the fruit juice.
Grateful for podcasts that don't take much brain power, my book, finding all the papers.4 -
