I have returned to this thread simply to apologise for my wrong opinion. I hope I have not confused the OP in any way.
I would delete  my post, but I know that only serves to add confusion and remove context, so I will leave it in place.
I can see sensible advice is being given.
Please dont apologise. I appreciate your opining too. Hope i dont have to pay the PCN if it goes to court!!

Your medical evidence will help if the claim goes to court. Some judges are aware that IAS are not independant. You don't even have to mention that you have made an appeal to IAS although the PPC's rep may mention it. I made an appeal to IAS and it was turned down. It went to court and I did come out of it too badly. Your claim may not go to court. It may be one of those PPC's that pull at the last minute.

so it means you went to court and did the judge dismiss the pcn imposed on you?
I reckon in my case i even have a blue badge in my mom's name and can use it further to show evidence of disability. On that fateful day, no space  even on blue badge area( only one bay) but i dont have any pic to substantiate that as how on earth i thought i ll get a pcn notice.

Not quite. My circumstances were different from yours. The ticket machine was not working so I left a note on the car windscreen. I got a PCN and after appeals it went to court. The judge made me pay the actual cost of the parking. I did not have to pay the claim. The PPC had to pay their own costs. I only paid what I should have paid for parking on the day in question.

I think that if you go to court you should explain what the medication is for.

Is there anything on google maps to show that there is just one Blue Badge Space?
