hatepcncharge said:It is indeed SHAM. Today i got a letter from PCN saying they will forward the details to bailiffs if i dont pay within 28 daysI am absolutely sure that the letter did not say "they will forward the details to bailiffs" read it again they cannot involve "bailiffs".As ChirpyChicken says you are overthinking this and reading things that are not there.3

If they used the word Bailiffs, they are idiots ..... or did they say Debt Collectors ?1

They did not say they would forward it to bailiffs at all.2

OP, just follow the advice you are receiving here and you won't be paying a penny to these scammers. You are showing the classic signs of low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree who can be intimidated into paying up out of ignorance and fear.
Just ignore everything unless you receive Letter of Claim (LoC) or an actual N1SDT Claim Form. In the meantime, just get on with your life. Nothing is going to happen.5 -
Please ignore "Cannugec5".
Their opinion is wrong.5 -

Please can you post the IAS decision here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6627117/ias-decisions-2025-onwards-until-we-hope-they-are-banned#latestWe haven't got enough evidence there yet. We need IAS decisions please.
You will never have to pay the PCN. We know what we are doing at all stages.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have returned to this thread simply to apologise for my wrong opinion. I hope I have not confused the OP in any way.I would delete my post, but I know that only serves to add confusion and remove context, so I will leave it in place.I can see sensible advice is being given.4
