    Happy Days - Pay Day
As I am not going to spend any money for the next 2 weeks I had a little look at my bank balance. We have money in Denmark which will cover all spending while we are there as long as we dont go mad. I have not had the credit card bill for all the Ebay stuff but will be over £600 and I cannot remember if i put anything else on it. I therefore paid £500 toward the credit card (hope that is OK as I do not have a bill) and then I was left with enough to pay £500 off the mortgage.

That means the balance is now: £4000 and MF date is November 2009.

I think that is so cool and really I should have enough to live on for the rest of the month. If we could find another £1000 and clear it by October we would have cleared our mortgage exactly 10 years early. We shall see.

Golf club with stiff shaft was fine I cannot feel any difference but DH kept going on about how I shall hit it right. Driver was fab I have never got on with one but tried this one (really scared) and it worked. Drivers tend to mess up my game but this one was really good.

Still not really getting on with the irons so they are going to Denmark and I shall keep my others here. Might even be able to make a profit out of them if the pro-shop in Denmark wants them as a trade in. Saying that I might still get on with them need some more practise.

Off to Bodybalance then lunch with mate and a bit of work. Going to IKEA with friend tonight at 6pm and need to do a bit of packing. Taking in-laws out to lunch Saturday and then HOLIDAY...

    Cannot wait...

Bye TG - see you upon return. Hope it's enjoyable and good to see the MFD is firming up to be Nov or even Oct. We likewise would be clearing 10yrs early if we can clear in Oct but I think it will slip a few months but it will definitely be no later than mid-Feb 2009!

Have a great time with your new clubs!

Thanks for all the pictures yes it is fab if we can clear it that early. Had a lovely time with my friend yesterday. Did Ikea and then stayed up drinking untl 3am. DH woke me up at 6am so I am a bit shattered already. Off to have lunch with the in-laws as I don't usually see them on my birthday and then off to the airport. Think I shall have some bubbly to celebrate not quite being 40 yet but don't feel like it right now. Too much last night.

Had a nice birthday although it rained all day. Hotel at Terminal 5 was great and we got over to Denmark this morning no problem. Lovely sunny and warm but this evening it has turned cold and rainy. Playing golf tomorrow so lets hope it clears up. Just need to check out about my pasport so better do that now. Take care Tina
