Realised this morning that I have made the wrong kind of Elderberry drink. When we tasted it is was far too sweet and not like it should have been. Turns out I used the receipe for Cordial not Toddy. Off to pick some more now and make a new batch. Toddy receipe has 70grams of sugar cordial 380gram figure why it is not taste right undiluted.
Making some srawberry jam too today as we have run out and have some in the fridge that needs eating.
Still no news about when Ebay buyer is going to pitch up but I have suggested before 11am or after 6pm. We shall see. I have 7 watchers and 3 bids so far so happy to let it run if he does not show up.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just had some bad news my sisters kittens are gone. Saturday they had all their washing stolen off the line and Sunday their kittens were gone. The box and their bed was all messed up and they are nowhere to be seen. They live outside in an outhouse so it was not locked. They have just had new neighbours some Rumanians who work as fruitpickers. One wonders but I am so upset as I really got close to them when we were over and they were only just 3 months old so tiny. I really hope they are OK where ever they are.
Working from home then off to HQ tomorrow. Should be a good trip but my computer isn't working properly as it will not load reports in our IT system. IT will not fix my computer so if I get the laptop to work I might have to just use that. What a pain.
Going to BodyPump at 6pm at least that is something good today.Save £12k in 25 No 49

That's awful news... I'm not a fan of cats but to have kittens stolen so young is terrible. Have the police said anything about it? Probably too young to trace but any finger prints on the out house door or anything?
Best wishes for BodyPump... I'm more of a BodyCombat girl myself!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
They have gone to the police but no news. They live in the middle of nowhere on 4 acres of land with only the Rumanians nearby so there is hope. Can't get hold of her though and it happened on Sunday will update when I know more.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Right that was that working week went quite quickly. Been at HQ until yesterday but it was a good trip. Went out Thursday night with work. Lovely meal in posh hotel and a few pubs. Ended up in a nightclub which was a bit of a shock to me as I have not set foot in one for 18 years. The men were just all over me, really not pleasant especially as I was at least 10 years older than them.
My sisters kittens are back home again. 1 appeared from under their hedge which boarders onto the Rumainians home. My BIL went to them and asked if they had seen them they denied it at first (they speak little English) but then said yes. 10 min later the other one came down their drive. Obviously been dropped off. Both were thin and very thirsty. They must have been fed as they would not have survived Saturday to Wednesday otherwise. I am just pleased they are back home.
Just been out to sort the DD's out for DH's account. Barclays has had the letter for 10 working days and not done it. Also spent £10 in getting my wedding ring enlarged, might help to wear it if I ever go near a disco again.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Been quite productive today listed 4 items on Ebay. 2 old driver which have been hanging around in the garage for years and some brand new Biotherm stuff I got free with an order.
My Ping club is up to £41 but with 12 bids and 21 watchers I hope it goes above the £55 I paid for it. Actually I also paid £8 postage but we shall wait and see at 3pm.
Have to do the mystery shop in the pub today but DH wants to watch Pompey loose at 1pm so we have to go this evening.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Golf club ended at £56.12 but he has not paid yet. Fingers crossed he does.
Listed a lotal of 6 items to finish next Sunday should be good. It will be a mad rush to get it all posted as I am away the following week from Monday to Friday.
Mystery shop went well exept for 1 thing. You have to order 1 main meal and we both had jacket potaoes. I am not sure they will pay up now but we shall wait and see. Came to £11.20 so really cheap for lunch for 2 with drinks.
Roasting a chicken with carrots from the garden and roast potatoes. Off golfing tomorrow should be good.Save £12k in 25 No 49

UPDATE TIME
Holiday Funds:
Totally empty after the trip to Denmark need to fill it up again. £22.14 paid out from Quidco so that was nice. I have had £923 from them in the last 3 years. Home insurance should be due this month so will see if I can get any more cash back. DH's car insurance is also due soon so that will add to his account. He has £30 pending for next month.
I also add Ebay sales in this but the golf club I sold for £56 is going into my own account as I was a mistake buy and I needed to pay for the correct club I bought.
I have 6 items listed on Ebay at the moment 1 has 2 bids on it up to £9.45 for some Biotherm freebies. Nice with a week to go.
Current Accounts
Got all the DD's transferred over and the first ones have come out no problem. I will keep an eye on it as it was changed over quite late. Should work nice now that we share all bills and there will be a fund in there to pay for annual bills such as insurance and golf club membership.
Savings Account
Well we don't really have any due to the offset but I did set up a Natwest account last year and should get the bonus soon. My mum has some money over here which I shall leave in there or maybe open a new account if I can get better interest. It is less than £400 so we shall see. Will be opening up some ISA's in the new year and start saving it will be so nice.
Mortgage
Don't think I shall make any more overpayments this month other than the £420 set to go out. It does feel strange only paying that amount I think we paid £450 when we first got the mortgage. DH is telling his internal sales guy he has to go at a meeting today and he is really nervous about it. I know it is sad but the guy is not helping himself. I hope the business can keep going not sure what DH would do if it didn't think has to pick up soon.
Gas & electric
Paid the first large DD this month £100 and £60 due to deficit. I will have to keep and eye on this and start doing some meter readings more often. I really don't think we use that much but then again DH loves heat and with the new underfloor heating in both bathrooms that must have added to it. Not going to look to change right now as I would have to clear the deficit.
Holidays
I should have 5 days leave left and as we are here for Christmas I shall not need any for that. DH cannot take more than 1 day off when this guy goes so looks unlikely we can do a week away. A long weekend at my uncles would be fab but not sure going for 2 nights is really worth it. Might me selfish and go to Denmark for 1 week before Christmas not sure I want to wait until next Summer to see them all again. It is too long. If I go to Denmark I should have enough Airmiles so will be a super cheap holiday.
Lager challenge
Really must do better and complete it this week. Had two bottles of Sol last night as we were sitting outside with the fire on. Might do BodyPump tonight or just go to the gym and do a work out have not done that for ages. Usually just do classes.Save £12k in 25 No 49
