Thanks for all the votes he has 16 now.

No meeting with manager this morning not until the 17th which suits me fine. Still seeing my personal tutor which should be good.

Had a fantastic afternoon yesterday company day out on the water at Rutlands in the East Midlands. Did Dragon boat racing really fab and good fun. Loads of people there but nice just to spend time with my team.

So hot and sunny it was a really nice day out. Also as it was lunch time people did not get so drunk like they usually do and I only had 1 beer back at the hotel.

Had a few messages from people of freecycle who wants my stuff one is picking some curtain rails up tomorrow and 1 from a fellow Dane who lives nearby. She is not interested in stuff but we might meet up. She sounds OK but they have two small kids and she is a bit younger than me. Hey you never know she migth be my new best friend.

Hope you are all coping with the heat.

Morning, not feeling very well this morning had a bit too much rose last night but not sure it is entirely down to that. Got someone from Freecycle collecting my curtain poles when I might head back to bed.

Paid the interest in the mortgage this month £4.58 so back down to £5500. Ebay wallet doing quite badly at £1.70 but hopefully it will come up nearer to Saturday otherwise I shall wish I had kept it.

Working from home today but think most of it will be spend in bed.

Still not feeling great but have to go and do a local appointment at 10am. Should be back home for 11am and then we are off to Festival of Speed. Can't remember if I told you that I won the tickets in the The Times. They are £38 each so a nice prize. Hope I feel better.

Going to be a busy weekend with golf Saturday and Sunday plus the South Africa family plus inlaws coming down Saturday afternoon. Hope I am 100% by then.

Ebay item up to £10.41 so that is nice news. Would like it to get to £20 as that will break even with what I paid for it.

Not a lot else to report other than no alcohol obviously and I may loose some weight due to feeling to crap.

    Morning
Sorry I have not updated for a while really not been feeling well and still not 100%. Had a nice time at Festival of Speed, so many people there but plenty of places to sit down and chill which I had to do a lot. Fantastic display by the Red Arrows and they had some fab cars too. To be honest it was more for DH as he is into cars big time and in particular motor racing. He really enjoyed it.

Did not play in the big Captains Day Competition on Saturday as still not well. DH did and won 1st prize with his team. He won a gas barbecue. Now we need a new one but did not think we would want a gas one. £45 later we now have a gas bottle to go with it and have already used it. Will need to learn to cook on it and a nice thing to win.

Saturday we had the in laws and BIL's ex, niece and her mother down. She is the one with the disabled child. It was a really nice evening and my homemade quiches when down well.

Sunday I did play golf and it was a nice round. Did a bit of chilling too.

Planning this week as I am doing a lot so loads of prep, need to write a speech for an AGM so that is a priority. Also going to Weston Super Mare and London.

Scales said 82.7 so something good has come out of feeling crap and no alcohol since Wednesday.

Moneywise not a lot to report not sure I shall be able to pay any extra this month. Ebay wallet ended on £20.75.

Morning all, sorry I have not been a around for a while this has been one busy week but good week. Workwise fab got to spend some nice time at a conference with good friends and made some good contacts too.

Stayed with my friend on Tuesday and going over there today to help her with her garden. It is a mess and so is the house so hopefully we can get it sorted. She still has no real furniture so just put a note on freecycle but not optimistic. She is then coming back here and as I have no golf tomorrow should be a nice evening.

Need to update my MFi3 chart so I can post the results. We are doing really well.

    Morning all
Had a really productive weekend. Gardening took 4 hours in the rain and involved 3 trips to the recycling plant in my VW Estate. Garden looks a lot lot better and she can keep it up now. Also hung some pictures but failed to fix her chair.

Went back here for a BBQ in the rain but my garden brolly covered the whole patio so that worked well. Sunday did a bit more gardening and got some plants in the ground. My friend is quite strong so that is handy. Also she helped me get a load of rubbish out from the side of the house so I can now get down there. I figured as my car was so messy from Saturday it was a good time to load it with rusty BBq's and old garden funiture.

Garden is now really nice and nothing needs doing to it. Sat outside with the Chimera on and even used it to grill some bananas and spring onion.

Today I need to do some work as I am at HQ Weds to Friday. Also popping up to the gym later did not make it at all last week but think the gardening would have done some good. Scales said 83.3 so that is an increase. Ups

Need to do a load of work today as I have my appraisal on Friday. I got it wrong last time so this is defo it. Also meeting with personal tutor and we have a sales meeting so 2 nights at HQ. Could not get into my lovely hotel so had to settle for Best Western for £45 a night. A bit cheap so not expecting loads. Got 5% cashback so that is nice.

Got a letter from Ladbrokes yesterday with a £50 free bet nice one although not doing much betting these days.

That is it better get on with it.

Edit: Just had a call from the Best Western they are fully booked so he has transferred me to the Ramada. That is a 4 Star and I get it at the same price as his £45 a night (normally £90). Lovely.

Wow - that is really great about the Ramada TG, a real stroke of luck - I find Best Western a bit rubbishy normally so well done you!
