Thanks SkintSpice that story was funny I have now ordered my license online so hopefully it will arrive safely with a car permit on it not too fussed about the bike bit obviously.

Sitting outside McDonnalds in Nottingham to avoid paying £3 an hour for WIFI at my very posh hotel. I have a suite under the roof really nice but just one small window. Still it is right next to the place we have out conference tomorrow which is perfect.

Looking forward to then having 4 days playing golf in Devon. Should be lovely lets hope the sun comes out again.

On the second reading I realised you meant at your hotel not at McD's :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope all is quickly sorted on the items in your wallet just keep an eye on your accounts online to be certain although once canceled I think you should now be fine.

Time for an update I think just come back from Devon had a lovely time playing golf with 8 7 other couples where I was the youngest by at least 15 years.

Finally got my current account card and my credit card plus I have bought myself an identical purse to what I lost. Does not look like anyone has tried to use the cards properly just nicked the £50 cash and the Radley wallet. Still lets not dwell on that just need to be more careful in the future. Nearly left my sunglasses behind today.

Done a bit of MB this afternoon hopefully if Gillingham looses I bust out of two bookies it is 1-1 at the moment. Would be nice as I have a lot of money tied up in MB at the moment.

Back to work tomorrow still it is not long until the Bank holiday.

Garden is doing well, lettuce coming up nicely, potatoes look good so does peas, spring onions and radishes. What a lovely day it has been sun all day.

Need to sit down a veg on the sofa now. Take care

That is the flights to Denmark booked for the Summer holiday. It was a bit disappointing as we cannot fly out on the 31st or my birthday the 1st August as all flights on Airmiles were gone. So we have to go on the 2nd Aug which is a Sunday and it is at 7am in the morning. I might get a taxi or hotel overnight as it is expensive to park up there. It cost me 1500 Airmiles and £120. Would have been £426 without them but we could have flown on my birthday. Still £300 to celebrate with is not bad.

Globetsport is now done just asked for the £200 bonus. Hope I get it without any hassle as some seems to have had hassle. Nice money and it only has to be turned over once before it is mine.

Still got Circlebet to do must get on with that one just €45 to do before I can close that one.

Off to Dorset today then over to Grantham for an overnighter. Oh the joys of Sales......

No beers or wine this week so far lets see how long that will last.

Morning sorry I have not posted for a while been a bit busy with work.

Things are not really great at the moment so feeling a bit down so stop reading now if you don't want to get depressed.

Work is slightly better as the company is taking a new approach to trying to plug the cash flow problem and this time it is one I agree with. If it all works out they will get rid of one of the elements I don't like promoting and replace it with something that should be really good. However two people possibly 3 have been put on redundancy notice and the chap in the North is going today I think. I don't think I am at risk as my area is doing well but it is still a worry.

Went to a meeting yesterday at my old place of work. Met some people there from several local authorities so that was good in case I want to go back into the public sector.

DH work is really bad. He has had his own company for 20 years and started it in the last recession. He has put 2 staff on part-time but the 3 does not want to do it. They made a loss last month and his dad is totally panicking. I am not sure what they are going to do but to get rid of the guy who wont go part time they need to give him 7 weeks notice and 7 weeks redundancy pay. We really need him to look after things while we are on our two weeks holiday so it is a bit tricky.

Still despite all the rubbish above our mortgage interest rate has dropped from £12.54 to £10.02 so that is cool in case the money stop coming in.

Another positive thing is that it is FRIDAY :T:rotfl::T

Larger challenge going well but have had 5 glasses of wine over the last two nights :eek::eek:

    Hi TG

sorry to hear you feeling down today. Just had a quick catch up on how you are doing and noticed the post about your licence. I did not see the watchdog thing so maybe it was saying the same thing but I have been following this in the MCN (Motorcycle News) and this is of course people who have prev had a bike licence but fresh licences coming back without the entitlement (inclucing a bike cop's !) rather than your way where you got an extra entitlement. I know they are encouraging people to tell them about errors so they can confront DVLA about it so if you have a minute or two you could always let them know about you so it is a more balanced picture rather than just the people that have bits missing IYSWIM. motorcyclenews.com

Thanks I might just do that however the bike license is only on the paper part of the license not on the credit card bit.

Having a really lazy day as we had my sister in law, her mum and niece down last night. They are coming down in a moment with the inlaws and I am making homemade pizza as a snack.

I am quite proud of my sister in law (brother in law and her split up before the baby was born 3 years ago) she is a single mum with a severely disable child but doing really well. The child is so much better can almost hold her head now and can use her arms to some extent. Anyway I encouraged her to sort her debts out last time she was here and she cut down on therapy for the child and the bank has reduced her credit level so she has to spend less. Most importantly she has stopped buying ready meals from M&S for the two of them. She is actually learning to cook and is loving it :T. I am going to get her to make the pizza dough and complete them as I have so far just done the sause. Hopefully she is up to it.

Done a bit of MB nearly done Circlebet and Globetsport has allowed me to take out £400 so far just waiting for the next £400.

Well that is it for now take care and enjoy the weekend.
