Thanks for all the good wishes in the end it turned out that they are not going down the route I feared so all is well. However it has made me think and the time has come to look for another job as they could change their mind at anytime. Also as times get tougher their could be other things they will come up with which I will not feel comfortable promoting. At least I have time to think about it and find that perfect job.
Cornwall was lovely. The golf course was a real tough one to walk so hilly. We decided to walk it the first day but the second day we took a buggie and today we did not play just has a leisurely drive back along the coast stopping in Fowey, Bodmin at at a little country pub for lunch. Hope you have all enjoyed your Easter I am so glad there is 3 days left of it incl today.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Had a great day playing in a golf competition. More of a fun one but it was really good and I played well. Signed up for loads for matches back in the swing of it so to speak.
Should really do the lawn but I am a bit tired. Have sorted out my raised bed planted out the peas and sown more lettuce and radishes as the slugs got the last lot. They don't seem to like the spring onions which is fine.
Going to Exeter tomorrow, think my neighbour might come with me just need to sort out what time I am going. Would be nice with the company.
Hope you are all having a nice time in the sunshine.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Time for an update it has been far too long. Exeter was great I really enjoyed having the company of my neighbor. Looking for somewhere for dinner we decided not to go for the chain restaurants as we had not bought any vouchers with us. Turns out she is a closet MSE who has not discovered Martin yet.
We ended up down by cathedral and we noticed a lot of Bentleys and Jags plus post men in long coats all going into a hotel. We went next door as it was a bistro offering a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine for £25 for two. Bargain.
Sitting in the place I noticed a lot of notices saying Micheal Caine's Menu, MC Bar etc etc so I said to her isn't that the chef from telly. She said no it is the actor in a really loud voice. Well the food was out of this world and it was Michael Caine's restaurant next door and we were in his bistro. I had Spinach and wild garlic soup she had Duck confeit, mains were Red Thai Curry proper big pieces of fish and mussels she had Park Belly. The wine was also really nice. Bill came to £28 with service charge. That was a nice night out plus I was on expenses.
Work is still rubbish my heart really isn't in it but I am not sure changing jobs is the right thing right now. Going up to HQ next week so we shall see.
Going to Pilates later and seeing my personal trainer at 5pm. Went to the gym yesterday for the first time this week though. Going to try to keep off the wine by having a bottle of larger instead. Love the ones you put lime in.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I didn't think that was possible any more
, I hope you showed her the error of her ways
Glad you had a good time, meal sounds lush.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Forgot to mention that my investment in Denmark has paid out. It is a kind of unit trust (I think that is the nearest to what we have here) it pays out twice a year in September and April. In September I got 1000kr which is a bit rubbish but at 8.50kr to the £ not too bad. Just got the April payment 3000kr that is an annual return of £470 on a total investment worth about £17,640 what would that be in APR?

Hope you are all having a nice weekend. I am off to play golf in a mo with the ladies I used to play with every Sunday. It will be nice to be back now that my game is sorted and I am sure those session in the gym will help my game too.
Went to Mackro with my neighbour yesterday and it was really good. Firstly I did not have DH being so impatient so had time to look at the offers. I am happy to stock up but 10l of washing liquid takes a while to use so it was nice to be able to share that. Got 4 fillets of pork for £8 that is £2 each which will feed 4. Also 6 chicken breast for £5 alll good fresh stuff. We will go again when we are both running low in essesntials.
Made homemade Pizza yesterday really good DH was impressed. Nice to have lighther meals now.
Still not touched white wine since Wednesday. Have had 1 bottle of beer (well two on Friday) so I am pleased with that. Better get dressed ready to go might just have time for another cup of tea and the papers.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Feel quite smug done loads of stuff today nothing work related however.
- Slowcooker on the go with pork fillet excess will be frozen for easy meals. Should get about 8 or 9 full meals for a cost of £9
- Booked 2 night stay in a very posh Golf Country Club through work and earned 10% cashback with Quidco. £14 for me and a lovely place to stay while visting HQ. Normally cost over £150 a night I got it for £70
- Bodybalance class done
- First 8 Basketball Games settled in PartyBets and Gamebookers doing all 4 accounts so still another 4x8 games to do over 2 rounds to get 8 x €20 euro per account that is €640 in total but it will cost me to do the qualifying bets.
PS Had two glasses of redwine with my roast dinner last night will try to stick to max 8 bottles of larger this week.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Well done on getting so much done TG.
You're doing so well with your wine 'reduction' that I'm jumping on the band wagon and am going to stop drinking during the week)

can I be cheeky and ask if you make your bases from scratch? If so, could I 'borrow' the recipe?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
