The boys will be free range as that is what our old cat was and it suits us better knowing they can get in and out as they please. We live in a small cul-de-sac quite a way fron any main roads so we are going to chance it. Next door across from us has a tom cat who used to beat our old one up but I think he has got more placid and we hardly ever see him actually thought we was dead. two doors away as two young cats. but that is it for this end of the close. We have an enclosed garden but with a 6th fence I know they can get out easily. Have had them outside today really seem to enjoy it bounce around alot. I am still in two minds about the insurance might just do it for the first year then save the money.

    Other things done today is
    • clean virtually all the windows on the inside (totally hate that job)
    • load of washing done and managed to dry it outside
    • covered by raised beds in fleece and plastic to warm it up
    • repotted some seedlings
    • pulled out another bag of ivy and got 3 bags out for the bin men (only meant to do 1 but no one else has theirs out)
Now I am cooking roast chicken plus I baked a ryebread yesterday very nice.

Here are a couple of photos off the boys today. You can see Jack is slowly changing colour he is becoming more smokey grey I think he could end up a Torbie.

Hope not - he is a boy, girls are the torbies, could be he is a golden.

I think I would probably go for the insurance for now as anything could happen with two young boys ! Don't forget cashback sites, Topcashback def. have Petplan and others.

Thanks for that they are lovely but I thought you could have Torbie boys just not Totie ones. Perhaps he is just a smokey brown tabby who knows he is nice anyway. Will think about the insurance guess to renew with Petplan who they are with now we would not get the cashback from Quidco but at least there would hassle, really not sure have until the 13th March to decide which is soon really.

Working from home today but got a conference call at 4pm and we need to leave for the vets at 4.15 so might have to take it in the car. Problem will be the handsfree kit which will pick up the sound of crying kittens. Hopefully it wont take long that call could do without it. Also need to complete my appraisal forms as I am seeing my boss tomorrow.

No other news take care all.

Is the renewal with petplan cheaper than starting a new plan ? If not try it via a cashback site and see what happens.

There have been a couple of very rare instances of red tortie boy maine coons, but i doubt it would be in sue's lines. Will have to wait and watch, I am going for golden. Could be a smoke, but without looking at the boys pedigrees, I couldn't tell you what was in their lines.

    Still jealous though !!!!!

Jack and Thomas did very well at the vets only cried a bit on the way and was good while injections and microchip. £92 and we have to go back for a booster in 3 weeks. I mentioned the runny tums and she gave me Panacur VandaFc are you sure you are not a vet? Wants to do stool samples etc if it doesn't improve but I am hoping it will clear up and will be vary of having anything done.

Having cold chicken and chips for dinner and they are after the chicken so better go and rescue my dinner.

Not a lot to report, still not heard from OH pension company so cannot get back to the IFA. Don't know how long it takes but it is a good 3 weeks now since he called them. I keep asking him to call them again and he keeps forgetting - men. Have emailed IFA so he knows we are still sorting things out.

Need to sort the Pet insurance out as the free cover runs out on Saturday so will report back on what I go for.

Of to a meeting today with a load of people I have worked with for years so should be good.

Edit Pet insurance sorted £23 a month for the two of them with £4000 cover and £70 excess. I went with Petplan as I got 1 month free so that made up for the £26 cashback with Quidco which I could not get doing it on the phone. At least this way they are covered with the same provider as when we got them so if there was anything wrong it should be covered.
