I totally agree MB is not gambling but if you tell people about it they think you are on a slippery slop already so I just shut up.
Lovely to play golf yesterday really must get out more such a waste to be a member and not play. I won a box of chocolates in the raffle - taste horrid so can go in the bin but it was for a good cause (£5 down the drain she says).
Waiting for my next free bet from my new bookie so can't do much until I get it. Everyone on the board is talking about Cheltenham and the big offers the bookies will have for that so I might wait and not sign up for anymore. It is difficult as you do get hooked on this. Just tried to keep track of where I am in terms of money in my MB account and current account. I have so far committed £600 of my own money to this project but you do need a fairly large balance in Betfair to do some of the offers so it is OK.
Need to do some proper work this week, is a bit behind with my sales job so better make myself a cup of tea and get on with it.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Quick update as I should be working right now. Got my £25 free bet no problem and had 5 x £5 bets on the horses. All at different odds just to make it seems less like I was just hunting the bonus. Odds change so quickly but the races are fun to listen to on the Betfair radio. Only did £5 at a time as was tricky to get odds matched and I still have to check the spreadsheet. One on them I didn't managed to get £2.52 matched as the odds went up so lost a little bit on that one. Then I had one were I backed at something like 4 and it droped to 3 so that must have been an arb. Yeah my first one. Still need to do another £5 at odds over 1.67 and then £25 at any odds to get the next £25 free on Monday.
So signed up with yet another bookie. U- N- I- B- E- T (in case they are looking). You get £50 bonus is you deposit £50 if oyu want to sign up look it up on the MB Board. I had a problem depositing but all sorted now - just looking for my first bet. Wagering requirement is £300 so hoping to loose my first bet of £100. That sounds so much but as it is all matched it will be fine. Just need to look for close odds now.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I had a really good run on the MB yesterday, got some fantastic help from the people on the MB thread too. UB turned out great for me I bet on the snooker and put my whole £100 on it. Got a great match and the person I backed lost so I have now cleared out my UB and don't need to worry about the WR. Reallly fab but my DH thought I was mad when I asked if the Snooker was on TV, I mean who cares about the Welsh Open 1st Round. Well I did.
All done with SB too for this week just need to email them and get the next £25. Done a bit more than my £50 all in smaller chuncks on different things. Rimini managed to win in Italian Series B so that went into Betfair too.
So totting up the results I am now on £241 profit and still going strong. I thought DH was really on board but when I showed him my balances on the spreadsheet and he realised my float is £550 he got a bit funny with me. I can't see what his problem is but may take some money out, I can always put it back.
Put a thread on the "Is this qoute fair" and had some great replies regarding my £17k qoute for the bathroom. I even had a PM whom I am going to ring to get another qoute.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning
Sorry actually had to do some work yesterday so no time to update. Hope everyone had a nice Valentines Day. DH and I have never really done anything for that. A bit of a waste of money in my opinion. DH buys me Fairtrade roses from Sainsbury at £4.99 this week they have been over £10 for exatcly the same ones.... need I say more.
On the MB front I had some good fortune. I have already got an account with V - C B - CASI-NO but they also offer bets. They have a new signup offer of £100 SNR. I knew I could not do that but I emailed to ask if I could use my casino acc to bet and if they by any chance had any signup offers for me. They emailed back immidiately saying as a goodwill gesture they would give me the £100. So cool it just goes to show if you don't ask you don't get.
Did the first £50 bet and have now got the £50 free one. Need to bet 5 x £10 to get the last £50 free bet and then as they are SNR find high odds for those. A bit worried they might think I am a bonus chaser and limit me so will have to make it look less like it. Thinking of doing smaller bets and larger ones on different things. Hopefully that will work. So far so good.
Got someone to give us a quote for the bathrooms this morning, he is from MSE so feels a bit strange. DH spoke to him and he said he sounded nice. Will update you later need to get some work done boss is phoning me back today.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Met the chap and his business partner to discuss bathrooms. They sound pretty good and we can just pick out what we want and they can buy it. Guess it will be DIY shops this weekend. DH does hate it as do I but we need to get an idea of what we like and the prices.

Hi there.
We found Bath*store a good place. Check boxes when they arrive though as things do get left out. Their customer services are really good though and replacements always came through really fast."Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." Right bathrooms are now much more sorted and Catshark you are absolutely right bathstore is a good place. We had been to one small place who had not been helpfull but popped into a larger one today and spoke to the owner who was brilliant. He priced everything up we wanted and it came to £4000. I then went through the Screwfix catalogue for the rest which added another £1000. We then went looking for tiles and here is where our expensive taste really shows. They came to £1200 but we will look in another shop tomorrow and bring that right down. Would like the materials to come in below £6500.
We did go and see the chap who qouted us £17k and he immidiately offered to drop the price. He will re-quote but I don't really want to use him now.
As for the matchbetting I have made my first serious mistake.
Was backing Bristol Rovers to beat Southampton nice match but on V C B E T you place the bet then you need to confirm it and I somehow missed that. I layed it fine on Betfair but as they won I lost £42 on Betfair and had to backed bet. Really annoying just as well it was not for a bigger amount.
Balance is looking a bit sick at the moment but I have placed a bet for tomorrows match so won't update yet. Should have another £50 coming in free bets from V C so that will make up for it a bit.Save £12k in 25 No 49

No more MB disasters over the weekend thank god and is now back to £220 which was what I had before. Have £15 in free bet at VC and waiting for another £50 plus just asked for my Tuesday top up of £25 from S....tingbets. I need to find high odds to use those as they are stake non returned.
Found the tiles we liked after looking in several shops. They are £25 pr m2 which is a lot better. I think we can do the 3 rooms for £800 tops for tiles. Emailed the fitter and hope he gets back to us soon so we can get this show on the road.
Don't think I can overpay much this month on the mortgage as work owes me for expenses and I would like to save up for the bathrooms. However will be down to £24k mortgage once the payment this month clears and we should be able to clear that in the 25 months there is left of the MFi3.
Going to London today for work so better find a train to get me there. I do not drive in London just cannot cope with it.
Update just got my free £25, balance now up to £245 wohooSave £12k in 25 No 49
