Noticed there's something odd about some of the sale items - 50% and 75% - I tried to put one of the kids boots play tool kit in the 75% sale - was £10 now £2.50 and they're out of stock - but I thought I had one in my basket from the 50% sale @ £3.75 - full price £7.50.
I then searched for 'boots play tool kit' and both come up - but the one is in stock (50% sale) and not in stock for the 75% sale - even though they look like exactly the same thing.!!0 -
Me too! Once sat on the floor in Boots ripping coupons out in the days of the Time Delay glitch!
Some familiar faces hear all of a sudden!
Boots in Bham has been stripped bare this week. One greedy mare apparently snatched nearly £500 worth for charidee.
Thankfully my back up Boots/Mr T stash is standing firm! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Got my 3 for 2 no7 items including a free Hight lighter!!!! But the transaction nearly didn't happen...
Bought 2 eyeshaddow's £7.00 each and high lighter for a total of £7.00 :j .
I looked for the tills where there were young girls on as they may be saturday staff (as oppsoed to a battleaxe!) She put all items though..she said that would be £17.25...so I handed her the voucher.....it scanned.....till showed at £7.00 owing......then she said sorry I cant use the voucher!!!!
Even thought the till had accepted it!!!!!
She then asked the girl next to her who agreed 'voucher not to be used with any other transaction'....so I told her that it scanned for my sister in another store yesterday alright (well you are all my honorary sisters really) and I'll just leave it if they won't let me have it.
Then the other girl asked if it went through the till and then my SA said 'yes' she said just let it go though then.
Blimey..if the till accepted it that should be ok shouldn't it???
The SA don't get ino trouble do they ????0 -

Hello all - nice to see both old and new faces
Now enough of the sale talk - some bargains to be had using the healthier skin booklet available to us all!
Expert Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream and Expert Daily Defence Moisture Cream both are on offer at 50% off ATM.
So £2.24 each rather than £4.49.
So use the coupons in the Healthier Skin booklet:
Save £1 on Experet Sensitive Hydrating Eye cream
save £1 on Expert Sensitive Daily Defence Moisture Cream
Makes each a nice £1.24 each. :T
BUT if you are an over 60 health club member (or know someone who is) You save an additional 10% off the price too!
So an eye cream and a moisturiser for under a pound!!
HTHS;)
P.S. Both scan in the same transaction - no beeps!0
