super_keen_money_saver wrote: »jolly jolly yes for some people you can get 3 items for the price of 1
for example...
2 x no7 wipes at £6.50 each
1 x highlighter
Total would be £6.50
I don't think this 3 for 2 and free highlighter will work with sale items, but i might be wrong!
Could you then use the £5 skin care voucher to make it £1.50 to pay?
I'm sure I read that they were being accepted on No 7 wipes.0 -

Phew! Im sure there are loads of things Ive missed off, thats just off the top of my head. I think Ive spent £180 but got pressi's for all year now. And countless £5 vouchers which ive been spending on Time Delay things, spent £2.50 so far on things that have been over the £5 but got 9 items and another 4 vouchers to spend. I have tried to get the free highlighter but the no7 SA at the Trafford Centre practically had a paddy fit and asked me how did I think I could spend 50p on a tanning wipe and get a £10.25 product free! This was after all 3 till assistants had given different reasons why I couldnt use it and in the end told me if I wanted to find a manager myself I could take it up with them! By this point I had too many bags to carry and couldnt be bothered but I will be trying again elsewhere!

Oh, and I got a lovely 'johnny loves rosie' charm bracelet with a lip gloss in one of the charms that must have been a free gwp at some point. Everyone keeps asking me where its from, it was marked up at £6 then had been crossed through to 50p!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

Now enough of the sale talk - some bargains to be had using the healthier skin booklet available to us all!
Expert Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream and Expert Daily Defence Moisture Cream both are on offer at 50% off ATM.
So £2.24 each rather than £4.49.
So use the coupons in the Healthier Skin booklet:
Save £1 on Experet Sensitive Hydrating Eye cream
save £1 on Expert Sensitive Daily Defence Moisture Cream
Makes each a nice £1.24 each. :T
BUT if you are an over 60 health club member (or know someone who is) You save an additional 10% off the price too!
So an eye cream and a moisturiser for under a pound!!
HTHS;)
P.S. Both scan in the same transaction - no beeps!
Ooooh looks good! Don't think I've seen the healthier skin booklet. Was it near all of the weight loss/stop smoking etc booklets???0 -
