If anything needs to take a pause for reasons of financial or mental health, then that is completely fine and normal and okay. You are a capable and intelligent woman and will resume any outstanding things when you judge you are best able to do so.

Our lovely Pippi refers to it as "washing machine head" - when everything is whirling round incoherently and you can't make sense of any of it! Keep on keeping on, and everything will turn out OK in the end!

thank you everyone, I'm honestly ok - still smiling which is the key thing.

two more gigs committed to but they are not for months. Many things to look forward to next year.

PIP, I am working my way through the back catalogue, really liked House in LA so thanks for that suggestion. I tend to obsessively play one album for a few days so it'll take me a few weeks to get through them all. I'd love to see them live but I can't make the current dates work.

Today is quite an important day so I need to get up and get on with things. Exciting in the 'future is bright' sense and good stress but a very spendy day indeed.

Things went as planned so I am now even busier. This is a good thing and will help me get where I want to be.

Today has mostly been spent scrubbing, painting over some very patterned wallpaper (would need to re-plaster if it is stripped) and prepping a couple of rooms for painting. Second coat of undercoat and the pattern is still shining through. It might have to be a darker coloured feature wall to block this problem.

Does anyone else remember Adrian Mole painting his bedroom wall and the 'Noddy' pattern shining through? Vague memories that he had to use a black marker to individually block them out.

Just thinking this. I also believe you could use? insolation/thermal/noise reduction paper and then paint a higher buget. It will have a special name but my heads also in washing machine mode with the cold bugs taking over. keep plodding big girls knickers, smile and fake it. xx
