Just got the email through for this one and thought I'd check the site out for reviews etc..
Is it recommended or should I not bother? Never bought the paper, for this purpose, before so is it worth it?
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
    I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T

When you book online you get the entertainment passes included along with linen. I

sorry I am confused. You can book online with the SUn offer, but this doesn't seem to be what you mean. Who exactly are you booking online with? The park direct? (Not all would have this facility presumably).

  • Most of the Sun deals work out dearer for us, family of 5, when you add on the electricity and entertainment passes. Short breaks we tend to book directly with the site. Also the Sun holidays always seem to be during term time - am I missing something?

I wasn't impressed with my Sun holiday in September, the extras such as linen, heating and passes were more expensive than the holiday itself.

Works out better value to either book directly through the park before the end of Jan as they have some good offers (Haven and British holidays)

Or wait until the very last minute and book as there are often caravans they are desperate to fill. I got good deals on both Haven and Pontins doing this last year, the Pontins one was less than half price. Haven was a higher accomodation standard than the sun deals too, sun holidays are always the most basic caravans and ours smelt of dog...
  • I received a priority booking form through the post, as we went on a Sun break in October last year.
Do you still need to send in tokens?
If you do...what is the point of sending past customers the priority forms?
When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!

Yes you do but you send in one less voucher than someone who has never been on a Sun holiday before. This means that you get to send off your vouchers a day earlier than the majority so you have a better chance of getting your first choice of venue and date.

school holidays are included too :D

if you go during the school holidays then you will defnitely make a saving

we make around £100 saving for a family of 4 on UK breaks
and between £300 - £400  when we have been on a sun holiday to France x 2 ( term time )

i advise checking and getting a quote direct if you want term time,as yes,you may get cheaper

dont forget everyone ,you dont have to hire linen, bring your own

also look out for the parks that have FREE entertainments passes,or just dont buy then if you wont use the facilities :)

you can also book online, if you have a priority booking form

121 out of the 178 parks are bookable online :)
