Yep that'll be the one I am on. We have decided to just go to Skeggy/Mablethorpe this year as it is the shortest travelling distance and we have had our fill of long arduous stressful journeys (Just returned from Minehead and that was a complete nightmare)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hi, we stayed a Hafan y Mor in October 2006, we went HB and the food was awful. The stay was good, a bit boring but it was end of season. It rained most of the week and there was nothing on for the kids in the day but we did get out most days along the coast. Regarding the food it was just not really edible, the staff were mostly Polish so if you had any problems they couldn't understand you. But we didn't let it spoil the holiday for us, we would prob go back but in main season and self catering.0

Good luck with that - I'm only on the train for 20 mins and feel like I've been through the ringer when I finally arrive home :rotfl:Just returned from Minehead and that was a complete nightmare)
We moved up here from just up the coast from Minehead - I know the journey well as Mum has lived in Lincs for years.

i remember hafan y mor as being fantastic but perhaps it was always sunny. we drove to fab beaches, we hired bikes on site, there are parks and walks, we played tennis and went for picnics at local castles etc.
if it rains ... hmmm ... well the swimming pool's great - that's one thing hafan y mor has over other haven parks. on site entertainment varies and depends on which staff they have. you'll struggle to find an english speaking member of staff in any haven, apart from the entertainments staff.
last year we went to butlins, it was the week the motorway flooded etc. but we had a great time because the little bob the builder yard is enclosed and there's a lot to do there.'bad mothers club' member 13

We have had great breaks with the hols. We have been to Perran View in Cornwall (twice), West Bay in Dorset, Penstowe Park in Cornwall to name but a few. We try to pick the parks with lodges or chalets especially if the breaks are for earlier/later in the season. Been frozen in caravans too many times! Always take own bedding with us - very pleased and saving to go again. However, bit confused as online booking starts Thursday but you won't have enough codes by then. Have emailed the Sun but no reply yet.0

We have 3 codes already, Keep & Sand from Saturday and Look from today. So by Thursday, we'll have all six codes0 -
:jI have been on numerous Sun Holidays over many years. They kept us going whilst we saved for Orlando. My children are now young adults and we still go. A holiday is what you make it. We have been too cold, too hot, dirty , and clean in our accomadation but always fun and happy. These holidays are good for quality family time. The best Brean sands. The worst Camber Sands. But always enjoyable.0

Hi all, I am determined to book a Sun holiday this year.
Which parks would you say were most suitable for young families as i have twin hyper 3 year old boys who will want to run wild!
The last time i stayed in a caravan i was 9, which was decades ago so its been a long time but am looking forward to it.0
