Tbf Mr KK said the same, but at least it has come out smelling clean for once! 🙄 (It was a 60 degree wash which I very rarely use!)
I’m going to have to ‘prompt’ this process more in future …

Have done weeding and mulching and planted onions and garlic. Just some chard and cavalo nero and broad beans left to go.

    Picked chard to eat.

Moved the rest of last year's logs to the porch, and moved some scrap wood and apple twigs to the log store to dry out.

Contemplating nipping down to the petrol station to see whether they have reduced F&V for the dog as Sunday evenings are usually a good time. Although the alternative is to have a nap...
  • Well, as I know you're all as gripped as I am, just to report back that if you have underfloor heating then you'll be needing engineered wood flooring, and then underlay that is compatible.
Also something something primer something something seams, but there's only so much interest one can have in one go

  • Would you sleep alright tonight having a nap at this time when it's dark @greenbee? Think that would be game over nighty night for me, then being wide awake for the 3am misery hour!

Probably not. But staying awake appears to be a struggle!
  • Have a stroll to petrol station then, but don't go if you need to drive sleepy!

It's 2 miles along a narrow road with no lights, then across a busy A road and there's no footpath... so no thanks :D
  • Ah yeah maybe not for now then 😁
Hope you have a marvellous sleep @greenbee, half seven is much more doable than half four!

While we all focus excellently on our awake tasks here, I genuinely feel strongly that catching up on your sleep is one of the most productive things anyone can do

I fed the animals, threw a ball for the dog, made myself supper, and am cooking gently in front of the fire. I need to have a bit of a tidy up in the kitchen, but I think finding a book and having a bath might be an idea. The dog goes to bed around 10pm and will need to go out again before then (he'll want to go out several times, but that's not happening!).
