Using Santander App for Cahoot only (Android)

I've got both Santander accounts and Cahoot ones. Is it possible to get them all to appear in the Santander app at once? Or is this a step too far?

Seems weird that I can add HSBC, Lloyds etc. accounts to my Santander app via Open Banking but can't find a way to add my Cahoot ones!

Open banking is mandatory only for current accounts (and technically speaking only the large banks *had* to support it). Savings accounts are largely not supported as it requires development effort and willingness to share data they don't have to.

If you are on Android, install another copy of Santander into Secure Folder and use your Cahoot details to log on.

I have my main current account with Santander, and a Simple Saver [@ 4.40%!] with Cahoot.
Curiously, in trying within the Santander App to use 'Linked Banking', CAHOOT is NOT one of the banks listed as being linkable!!
Back to the web browser, therefore, for any Cahoot activity...
They have each always been completely problem-free.

I sent a seure message to Cahoot asking how to add their accunts t my Santander app. I got the following reply which might amuse folk:

Please be advised cahoot does not have an app. Nor can this be linked to your Santander log on. We are a separate bank and you have you own log on details for cahoot. You may only log on using www.cahoot.com. Please note we are also not part of Open Banking.

I'm wondering whether to message back, pointing out that their Legal page claims they have the same Company Number as Santander UK plc, and the same Financial Sevices Register number as Santander UK plc, and whether Santander know that Cahoot is masquerading as being part of their organisation?

Although, honestly, life's too short

Is this just for Samsung phones as with my Poco X6 I can access my private folder but I can't for the life of me work out how to add an app there

For a Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phone, you may find it easier to use either their "Dual Apps" or  "second space" options

If they are claiming to be a different bank then they shouldn't be exchanging suspicious transaction activity, which I believe they do.
