Quick update, Greggs have replied and now say they're going to get it cancelled, so il wait until its been confirmed before appealing to pola, although i still feel this is massively wrong, i know they'll be lots that may just pay it, not sure whether to just appeal anyway as im curious to see what popla would say. Thanks for everyones help, and il pop back if confirmed its cancelled. Cant believe they get away with this stuff 😡

Appeal anyway,  including that Greggs have agreed to cancel it,  adding proof If you have it,  plus add in everything else I mentioned too

Better if both cancel it,  separately,  plus it proves the investigation was correct,  badly managed by all of them

If Parking Eye were daft enough to contest it at popla, it would cost them over £30 too

May I also suggest that you fill in the current government public survey consultation as well,  try to get this cowboy industry finally regulated,   see the thread by coupon mad

Once you got your cancellation I'm sure you'll be happy to write a few words on Tripadvisor and/or Trustpilot about how some Greggs meals come with a £100 "surcharge" if you order at the wrong time.

Personally I'd also contact a journalist to see if your local paper will publish a piece about it.

They should be interested, to rattle some cages and to warn locals that they can't use Greggs first thing in the morning at that retail park even though it opens at 8am, because ParkingEye are sending PCNs to everyone who drives in before 9am.

Well done,  what a ridiculous rigmarole that genuine customers should not have to go through

Please complete the current government public survey consultation this week,  because it closes in early September

    Hi,

Just an update that parkimg eye have withdrawn the pcn, id like to thank everyone for the advice and help. Ive contacted land owner to change the incorrect signs, so il see what happens with that. Thanks again
Do get this in your local paper because other victims won't be so lucky.

Re the government survey: before the end of next week please please do the government's Public Consultation.

We need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline.

    See this thread: -

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.
