They have asked me to prove I updated my V5C in May (which I hadn’t otherwise the letters would have come to me directly). They also said they do not handle disputes or appeals, as they are just a debt recovery agency so they expect me to pay all the fines.

The total they are asking for is £1,190.
    Hi there,

    Thank you for the information.

I have read the newbies thread steps and need some clarification. I don't think POST 2 is strictly relevant to me as far as I am aware. The only letters I have been sent are the ones attached below not an LBC (please correct me if I'm wrong). These were sent to both me and my old address.

As per POST 4, you say to get in contact with their data protection officer at both TNC and NPE ltd to erase the old address. Should I be getting in touch with both companies if they hold these PNC's against me and I have acknowledged I am aware of the letters with TNC?

As far as they are concerned I have 7x unpaid PCNs all for my parking space and they are asking that I prove that I have changed my V5C before May for these to not be payable.

Would love to know what the next course of action would be, and what I should do in my scenario.

Hopefully the attached letters from both me and the old address holder is enough to guide me.

One last question is do they continue sending these letters in the hope you eventually pay? or do they just give up sending them. Apologies for the many questions and thank you in advance!

Letters received so far (that I know of), tried to keep all important info and the date of issue clear.

Horrible intimidating letter chain that only demands money and offers nothing.

There is no legitimate interest to have added £70 for this harassment, which just makes more money for both the POC and DRA, whilst refusing to reissue the PCNs (as the 2022 Withdrawn Code required ... but the 2024  Industry Code cynically removed).

    More updates -

I emailed them in response to them ignoring my request to change the address below:

    Hi,

I’ve given you my current address via the V5C but haven’t had any confirmation that the old one has been erased from your records. Please confirm that you’ve updated this and will only use my current address going forward.

    They responded with:

I have sent the information to the correct department.

    The tickets are all outstanding.

Please provide the information on when you will be making payment and I will update the accounts

Basically ignoring all requests to remove my previous address. They also tried calling me this morning on top of this too.

Surely this is against all GDPR laws to hold this information until payment on these PCN’s are made?

Yes. You have a legal right to rectification.

    Complain to the Information Commissioner.

Now to action: I've already mentioned this but we have some guidance for you now. PLEASE bookmark this thread below and do Public Consultation if you haven't done it yet. See this thread: -

Reopening this thread as since I have received the above letters, I have been bombarded with letters from NPE + TNC saying the debt remains unpaid (obviously not paying it). Do I have to just continue receiving 7x seperate letters from these companies every month until I die because it's getting quite frustrating having to acknowledge it.

I am not paying these, just wondering what I can do?

    Thanks
