Ooh that's such a lovely gift Fortune! 🥰
And as for the builder... well, thank you in behalf of the rest of the world for taking a stand. Its very likely he's done this before and it's about time he got what he deserves. Perhaps his family find him an annoying bully too, who knows. At any rate, you're giving him the opportunity to see the error of his ways. I'm just sorry it's taking so much of your time and energy. Good luck!7 -
People like this don't just mess with people on one side of their life. I suspect he is divorced/separated & his ex has to fight for every maintenance payment they get.5

Not a good start...
Thank you for the dino love everybody and for all the bully builder support 😘 We have until today to pay before he calls in debt collectors (apparently) so I'm expecting a horrid email from him at some point.
We had a lovely day yesterday. Just a gentle, pottering type of day puntuated with a Sunday roast at our local brewery. We were seduced by the dessert menu too so supper was a little bread and cheese with a glass of red as we weren't very hungry at that point. Costs will be met from our entertainment budget.
Mr F disappeared off to the barn for the afternoon (no idea what he does in there 😂) and I made a dino friend for the Brachiosaurus (I think, of all the Sauropods, he looks most like a Brachiosaurus). Then we setlled down in front of the telly for the evening. I'm watching 'Our Welsh Chapel Dream' at the moment which is interesting but slow progress. I believe Season 3 is about to be released and, at this rate, they might get to Season 10 😂 I don't mind. It's nice, gentle entertainment and they are a likeable couple so very watchable.
However, today has not started well. FDawg had an accident in the kitchen 🙄 So, what with that, and bully builder, I'm hoping it's not going to turn into a a s**t day 😂
Happy Monday all

The calm before the storm?
As expected, we did receive another nasty email from bully builder, then a couple of 'phone calls (which I didn't answer) and then.... nothing. In the lull I've submitted documents and raised a claim with our legal insurers (that's a couple of weeks of my life I'm never going to get back 🙄). But, the bulk of it is done and now we have to wait and see whether they think we have a viable case. If they think we have, we'll proceed through solicitors. If they think we don't, we'll go to small claims court ourselves.
I've got lots of catching up to do now. Other business and personal admin has been neglected and the house is in need of good clean (or 'a birthday' as Mr F says 😂). I have managed to get our invoicing up to date and all the information uploaded for our company year end though.
In jolllier news:- a friend at the gym gave me a lovely sewing book and several metres of material she doesn't think she'll use
- I've made a volcano to go with the dinosaur play mat
- I added a third gym class to my schedule
- and we've had several social invitations for the coming weeks.
Both Mr F and I are a bit below par as we had flu jabs on Thursday. Just tired and a bit lethargic. I hope we buck up soon though as Mr F is off on a business trip tomorrow for a week. We're planning to have a relaxing evening doing very little so that should help.
Hope you're having a fab weekend guys.
