The time taken to get past Cloudfare verification is annoying. I wonder whether this is going to prove counter productive in getting genuine visits to the site,

Thanks Eco-Miser. Although I did a forum search for Cloudfare, I didn't see that thread but have now read it and of course you are right, it would have been a better to post it there though MSE response doesn't impress anyway. 
Will leave it as is now.
