Righto, Thursday has been a bit if a wasted day. Most of it didn't driving the kids to various places and then collecting them!! Off out again in 20 mins for a club.!
At least it's been a lovely bright day.
DS1 had a long dental app and came out saying that the dentist had told him to cut back on the sugary fizzy drinks ( she's not the only one who's told him that, many times!!) so he's decided to go cold turkey😱 that's going to be fun. She's also told him cheese is good. Much better than sweet / biscuits. So gawd knows how much cheese he's going to get through as he didn't like the sound of the options ( veggies / crackers etc!)

  • Hope tomorrow is less of a run around after the kids day 🤞🏻

Not sure where the dates are going, October tomorrow!
Had a bit of work today, which I had moved to drive DD, got back DD not going in lesson Cancelled! So the day should have been more productuce than it was, as I had more time!
Did a wash, faffed with some other work. Did a bit of shopping collected DDs friend. Booked tea and were out for football in a bit.
Unfortunately I closed the lid of my laptop and it didn't shut quite straight, so I opened it and the hinge popped and the screen broke 😭😭😭😭😭😭
It's not that old, but older than a year! And wasn't cheap cheap, so I'm gutted. DH is currently looking at it and has taken it already to see if anything can be done!

DH is trying to fix the laptop. So far has spent £127 on new screen and a back case. Eek, hope he can do it!
Went to work yesterday. Had 4 house calls, but one wasn't in. Turns out they are in hospital and she was in a right muddle!
Anyhoo, finished work and managed to listen to a healing session / meditation which was lovely.
Today, I've made it into the studio to paint. First time in ages. I'm having to refrain from the feeling of gong to the art shop and buying a while load of stuff!
I want spray paint and Guesso and canvases. Plus more acrylics in certain colours. Sometimes I wish I painted thin layers, but I love thick textured paint!
Holding back so far, went to the hairdressers this afternoon, spent a fortune in there! But, I haven't had a haircut this year, it was cut and coloured in December, and it really really needed sorting out! Look alot better, but the colour is abit bright!

It's been an expensive week with the dentust and the hairdresser, so really best not go to the art shop 😭😭

    Friyey!
Been prepping apples for the freezer this morning, then took DD to college then went to art shop restrained and didn't get too much. But needed canvases, so go 3, in the buy 2 get 1 free. Yey! Plus I had£5 off the shop. So that's good..

Also done my SE job work. That's is quite reduced at the moment, I need to ramp that up, somehow and get a some more clients.
Looked in the studio, unfortunately the painting I did yesterday haven't dried. So I've bought 2 of them inside in hopes they will dry tonight

Wowsers it was cold standing outside on the football field this morning. 🥶🥶That's something I'm not used to doing!
However it was worth it, DD scored a goal.🎉🎉🎉 Her first and, it's only her 3rd match
Whilst I was on the sidelines, I made a list of the things I need to bring to future games! 😜
Firstly I need a proper,  long waterproof coat!, hat and gloves I have, I'm going to get a kit bag!!! Plus things like plasters and paracetamol. This football malarky is like a whole new world!
So I've been looking on v1nted for a coat, but not really seen one yet that I like or is the right kinda price. Will keep looking tomorrow as I am going to want it for next Saturday!!
Wasted much of the afternoon making soup and trying time get warm!

Money wise things are not great on the CC front I put my dental work on it😭 had to be done. Just annoying!
The art material went on it too! Kinda felt, stuff it, there already loads on it, might as well as another 50! I need to have a shuffle on my accounts and see what Payment I can make.

I also need to list more bits up for sale, but it probably won't be till next week. I am going to my mums tomorrow and help clear more stuff. Unfortunately the house hasn't sold yet. Not had many views 😢 the flat she liked the look of has sold now, so she's a bit disheartened.
I hoping to make it look a bit more appealing to viewers by tucking lots of nic naks away, making it a bit more anonymous!

  • Wowsers it's been 10 days since I last posted oops! I do tend to go quiet when I dint have much to say and when I'm feeling a bit down!
I've been feeling write overwhelmed things things at home and jobs and stuff.
    I am lacking direction!!

I did go to my mums last weekend and it was good we got a load of stuff sorted and a few big things listed. Sold a big desk that dad used to use, that run had 4 tables in it!! I mean it's a big run, but 4 takes us crazy, but that's one less now. Plus there was at and VHS player!!! The TV was one of those box style ones. I didn't think anyone would want it, so I offered it up for free, a lively couple came and picked it up about an hour later. They had been looking fir an old TV due retro gaming!!
We also offered them a betamax player and some cassettes. So more stuff out of the house!!
    But no more viewings unfortunately

I have been listing muns clothes and sold 2 things, one this evening.
And something of ours sold too. So yey!!
Also got Oh to list some lego kits. Which is good, but more to list!!
Really want to get more stuff out of the house! Upstairs in one of the kids rooms under the bed is boxes and boxes of lego. All colour coded as we were trying to make up the kits to sell. But we started that over 2 years ago and still have all the boxes! I think we need to set a limit like Christmas and then just donate the rest that's left!

  • Oh and I cleaned the job this evening and noticed a chip on one of the rings. And there are cracks around it 😭😭
I'm not sure if the hob part can be replaced or if we need to buy a new oven 😬😬
But definetly not using the hob as I'm sure any heat will make the cracks spread.
No idea how it got chipped. I cooked some bacon for DD this morning and DS1 cooked eggs and I wiped the hob down after lunch and didn't notice it. Then cooked mushrooms on the ring this evening. Only noticed it when I wiped it down before going to bed (trying really hard to reset the lounge and kitchen so it's nicer when I get up!!!!) no idea how it chipped!

    New oven arriving on Monday.
Could have had it delivered on sunday, but that was an extra £45!
I have managed to use the back 2 rings without the crack changing, so cooked spag bol last night for the kids. We had DD and her bf DS1 and her gf so the house is full. OH and I had salad with a Greek feta parcel from lidy, which was yum.
Today is a very quiet day. I need to go to the post office and anything else will be a bonus!!
